The glitzy and glamorous show, Emily in Paris was released in early October 2020 on Netflix. Shot in Paris, this show left fans wanting more and despite all the critics, it has been ranked as the most viewed on Netflix for weeks to the point that producers have announced a second season.

While we are all thrilled waiting for the next season to premiere, let's reminisce about some iconic fashion trends from “Emily in Paris” that were unforgettable, even a year later.

1. The First Day Of Work Outfit

This outfit is the epitome of perfection! Her silky shirt including a landscape picture is buttoned at the neck, allowing for a plain white crop top and a little green snakeskin skirt to balance the look.

2. Yellow Outfit- The Early Bird

Although yellow is a hue that many of us avoid, Emily made it work by pairing it with an asymmetrical blouse, midi skirt, and a thick black belt. For cooler seasons, this outfit will be perfect when paired with a black leather jacket.

3. Floral Off-Shoulder

Emily Cooper pulled off this off-the-shoulder dress that is perfect for summer effortlessly. If this outfit doesn't make you want to fill your closet with a bunch of cute floral dresses, I don't know what will.

Throughout the show, Emily wore quite a few off the shoulder pieces, here's another one: Off-The-Shoulder Lily Print Dress

4. Snakeskin

To be honest, I'm not a snakeskin type of girl but this outfit worn by Mindy was one of my faves. Having the perfect silhouette, the dress hugs her body perfectly. It certainly gives off some Parisian vibes. Especially if paired with an off-white beret.

5. Puff Sleeves

Camille is the show's most underappreciated style queen. Her outfit which features sheer, ballooning sleeves, and a figure-hugging checkered print is to die for. We are starstruck by the show's recurring theme of puffing sleeves.

6. Ruffles

Emily's frilly blouse paired with green Louboutin heels is giving off vintage vibes as she heads back to Paris. This super cute outfit looked so good on her, especially when she wore a pair of sunnies in that episode.

Unfortunately for this outfit, I couldn't find any link.

7. The Iconic Red Beret

This whole look is my absolute favorite from the show. She totally looks like a Paris girl, with the beret. Her outfit comprised black and white checkered shorts paired with a matching blazer, a black quilted bag, Mary Jane sandals, and the red beret.

8. Face Print Handbag

This uncommon patterned handbag was the first thing that caught my eye in this scene. Emily wore this to a special event however, the bag is a good addition to any type of outfit; be it casual or streetwear. If I had this purse, I swear I would wear it all the time.

9. Bucket Hat, Bucket Bag

This outfit was really iconic, as this was her first bucket hat. This outfit is definitely green-inspired; a green bucket bag, a green bucket hat, a plaid skirt, and a green tweed coat. And as surprising as it is, this completely green outfit looks amazing on her.

10. The Black Swan Outfit

This black, zigzag patterned semi-sheer dress with an off-the-shoulder design was perfect for going to the opera. She totally channeled Audrey Hepburn! The glitterati shoe and clutch detail were also really stunning.

Her French may be rusty, but Emily for sure knows her way into the Parisian Fashion. The show was filled with loads of extravagant and spectacular outfits, with Emily’s being the centerpiece of the series. However, the female supporting cast had a fair share of their fashionable moments too. And now that the shooting for the second season has started, let's hope to see some more amazing outfits.
