Have you ever fantasized about becoming an actor or actress? Well, you're not alone! The world of acting is a magical and enchanting place that has captured the hearts of countless teens.
However, let's not mince words - pursuing this dream is no piece of cake! Despite facing obstacles, Maria remained determined and resolutely chased after her aspirations. When asked what inspired her to pursue acting, she responded, "The magic of cinema, how I could become whoever I wanted and immerse myself in different places, decades, and lives.
When I was younger I always loved to play pretend, dance, and sing and while all of my friends had two or three options of what they wanted for their future careers, I couldn't choose between all of the paths. Every time I watched a different movie/show I wanted that character's career or lifestyle for my life. For so long, I didn't realize acting was a career, so when my mom finally told me, I knew that's what I wanted to pursue."
Movie or Social Media Star?
Maria never imagined that she would achieve immense popularity on a social media platform as vast as TikTok, which made her success all the more astonishing. Life has a way of bringing enormous opportunities when we least expect them. When questioned about her initial introduction to TikTok and her response to the overwhelming support she received, Maria answered, "It was a total accident!
In 2018 I remember being so bored one day that I wanted to download a new game. I came across Tik Tok ( Musical.ly at the time), downloaded it, and recorded a random video (a terrible one). I didn't think anything of it until I realized the video got 60 likes, which was a lot to me back then and enough to motivate me to start putting effort into always creating content. Eventually, my videos started going viral, I would get millions of views and to me that was and it still is unreal. Having people that support me and my content, and most importantly, believe in me and in what I can do it ́s just something I never thought I could have and I'm eternally grateful for this opportunity."
The life of an influencer is filled with numerous advantages and benefits. "There's so much I love about it. I mean I love how free I can be to create whatever I want and express my creativity with others, showing who I am and what I'm capable of. However, the best part is to have people looking up to you and supporting you. All I want to do now and in the future is inspire people for the better and be an inspiration since I know how sometimes this can change someone's life."

With the expansion of her platform, Maria finds herself drawing nearer to her dreams. Yet, the path toward achieving one's dreams can be taxing, and staying motivated during the journey is never effortless. Maria recounts her experience struggling with inspiration as an aspiring actress, explaining, "I ́m not gonna lie, sometimes it is really hard to stay motivated and keep believing in yourself.
I ́m always comparing and doubting myself and when that happens I think about the little me and how much she believed we could do this, she didn't have doubts. I'm always keeping her dreams alive and getting one step closer to achieving them! And, of course, my relationship with Jesus, which is essential throughout this entire journey. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for him."

Maria exemplifies the art of learning from the past, savoring the present moment, and envisioning a future full of possibilities. She shares, "The world and so many people are gonna try to tell you how you are not capable, that you aren't different and you have nothing special to offer. That is a lie!
Yes, it's gonna be a hard walk and you will have second thoughts about your capability but that's exactly what they want. Never stop trying, believing, and working hard towards your dream! You can do this." She also keeps fans on their feet by informing us, "I have so many amazing projects on paper. I'm just waiting for the right time to apply them to my social media. They can expect something unique, unforgettable, original and also, hopefully something acting related for this year."

I honestly don't even know how to express this but they're quite literally everything to me and so many of my friends think it's so funny how much I talk, kiss, and hug them. I need that physical touch and attention from them, otherwise, I won't be the same."

1. If you were given an unlimited budget to plan a dream vacation, where would you go, and what would you do?
I would bring all of my family and friends to Disney World, such a fun and magical place! I honestly can't get enough of it, and it's one of my dreams to go there with everyone. It would be amazing to enjoy the parks with all the people I love!
2. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Shapeshifting, there's so much that you could do with it. I wanna get inside a new movie set. Let's get inside as the director.

3. If you could learn a new skill or talent overnight, what would it be and why?
Learn how to sing. I take singing lessons, but I'm not that comfortable with my voice, even though I love to sing!
4. What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Be grateful for everything, including the closed doors. So many people have told me this before, but I didn't know how to do it. It's hard to be grateful when you get a no or a hard time.
It took me a while to finally understand, and sometimes I still don't, but it changes everything. Especially as a Christian, God knows what's best for you and your life. He knows the right path, and if you decide to be grateful and trust that, you ́re gonna feel so much better!
5. If you could switch places with any fictional character for a day, who would it be and why?
I have so many answers to this, but today I'm choosing the less deep and reasonable one. I would choose to be Wendy in the 2003 Peter Pan live-action, I was obsessed with Jeremy Sumpter, and for years all I wanted was to be in Wendy's place!
6. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Oh wow, that ́s a hard one. I have to say Brazilian food! I just don't think I would be able to live without it, our dishes are just something else, and I think I would be fine with eating it for the rest of my life.
7. What is your favorite book or movie, and why?
I have so many, but if I had to choose one, I'd probably say The Greatest Showman. It's a movie that became special to me ever since the first time I watched it. The soundtrack is so special, and the acting and the storyline inspire me so much.

8. What is the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
After going to church, having a pool party with a Brazilian barbecue alongside my family! We used to do that so many times, and to this day is one of my favorite programs.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory?
All of my Disney World trips with my family! I hate to mention this again, but it is true going to Disney is and will always be so special to me.
10. What is your ultimate pet peeve?
Hypocrisy. I don't like when people point out stuff they don't like, especially about me but do the exact same thing or worse. It just gets on my nerves!
