1) F•R•I•E•N•D•S

The series is a beloved comedy, following the personal and professional lives of 6 friends living in the heart of New York. Real-life situations handled with a little help from their friends earned it the love of the audience around the globe. They grow, learn, and live alongside each other making their lives pleasantly better. A Course of 10 years reflected, of their lives is filled with joy, tears, laughter, romance, and drama which makes it hard to not fall in love with each one of their personalities.

Joey as a struggling but a dedicated actor, Monica as a chef along with her "Monica clean" character, Ross being a paleontologist with bad luck in marriages, Chandler hating his job in the data processing but making the day brighter with his jokes, Rachael with her struggles to achieve her dream job but being stubborn and finally Phoebe the musician, working as a masseuse part-time. They make us believe in true happiness and taught that lives are not fairy tales but are easier with loyal and supporting people.

Production of Warner Bros. originally aired on 22 September 1994. The series ended on a bittersweet note but with a promise of staying together till the end. It became one of the most popular television shows of all time watched and adored by 52.5 million people. They celebrate life each day to go on and left an impact on the hearts of humanity.

2) The Vampire Diaries

This show displays the life of a 171-year-old vampire (stuck as a 17-year-old), Stefan Salvatore. He is a kind-hearted and selfless brother having flaws of his own but [censored]-bent on saving himself along with the people he loves or cares about. He returns to his birthland, Mystic Falls in Virginia after so long and instantly falls in love with a high school student, Elena Gilbert. The series is a supernatural focus crammed with disaster, dangers, betrayals, sadness but all in the name of love and family.

Stefan enduring eternal misery promised by his brother, Damon Salvatore, for turning him into a vampire in 1864. The adventures and challenges faced by the three (Stefan, Elena, Damon) make them close and ready to die for each other till the end. The series stirs mixed emotions in the audience creating it into one of the favorite fantasy worlds. The show revolves around vampires, witches, werewolves, hybrids, ghosts, and rarely left humans.

It is a complex mix with amazing plot twists and gets better each passing season. It received 3.60 million views instantly when released. The web series has two spin-offs, "The Originals" and "Legacies".

Which were also quite famous among young adults. The final season began airing on October 21, 2016 and ended March 10, 2017.

Kevin Williamson initially had little interest in developing the series but was later intrigued by the story and planned further production.

3) The Originals

The show is the spin-off for the series "The Vampire Diaries". The beloved original vampires, the first-ever vampires. The whole family, called the original family, turned by their mother faces hardships and spectacles.

It's the storyline of the origin of vampires. Six siblings continue their move to avoid their father who realized his mistake of creating "monsters" along with his wife. Who both were determined to kill all their children and 'relieving' the world from them. Klaus, being the hybrid swore to protect his siblings no matter what.

Loyalty, respect, and love are what he seeks from others but always end up heartbroken but still believed in his twisted way. He was seen as a villain but he was the one who wholeheartedly followed the one oath he and his siblings took thousands of years back, Always And Forever. Others had weak moments and even deceived each other but Klaus never did.

He always chose family first still he was referred to as the "monster". Over time new friendships are made, love develops, wars are won and family history knocks.

The series was released on 3rd October 2013. In November 2014, a web series titled The Originals: The Awakening was released as the third show in the franchise. The series explores the character Kol Mikaelson and his relationships with his siblings.

4) Legacies

(2 seasons and more to come) (32 episodes)

The Original network of The CW. It's another spin-off for TVD but a continuation for TO. The show follows the life of Hope Mikaelson, daughter of Klaus Mikaelson, and Hayley Marshall along with daughters of Alaric Saltzman (from TVD).

It broadcast further lives of the young learners in the Salvatore Boarding house where they learn to control and use their abilities. Next season is expected to launch in 2020 and the supernatural being fans are eager to watch further expeditions.

Legacies is an American fantasy drama television series, created by Julie Plec, that premiered on The CW on October 25, 2018. It is supposed to be like a high school series except for not so typical cliché.

5) Riverdale

(4 seasons) (76 episodes)

It is an American teen drama based on Archie Comics. It features cast based on the same. Filming took place in Vancouver, British Columbia. Archie and his gang fight waters of romance, family, and school but get entangled in dark Riverdale mysteries.

The Archie fans claim to be on the edge of the seat through the suspense and the storyline being a hit amongst teenagers. Riverdale is a small town with a normal life until a murder mystery rattle the chain of peace. Being curious as a cat, Archie and his gang hunt the case and find themselves exploring the struggles of daily lives. The thought of the previous normal life doesn't seem as innocent as they thought, in fact maybe the town wasn't as innocent as they thought!

The series debuted on January 26, 2017, to positive reviews. The show was quite striking with all the darkness hidden within the White walls. After the release, Archie Comics published a series of compilation graphic novels branded under the title Road to Riverdale.

They two got linked with each chapter and every season. The first volume of the comics was out in March 2017.

The show claimed numerous awards during the years and was proved "addicting". Somehow Australia was under the possessions where it was most watched tv series for a long time.

6) Locke and Key

The show is a very recent addition to the Netflix; horror, fantasy, and drama column, released on 7th February 2020. It sparks the confusion by clues and evidence in a haunted house. The siblings find the road of mystery and surprises leading to the solution.

It was influenced by the comic series by Joe hill but with MAJOR changes. The series is outstanding compared to the original source. The comics received a high amount of criticism but a few changes in the plot and scenes made it different in a better way.

The kids explore the house with a set of keys, which were unique and special. These keys woke up strange demons that would not stop at anything to find the keys. Each key had its purpose which would help them with what they were on to.

The production took place in Toronto, Ontario, Lunenburg, and Nova Scotia. The production of next season was announced in March 2020 but was short-lived due to the pandemic which took place.

The series is stuck on a suspense note but it was confirmed that the series shall upload soon.

7) On My Block

(3 seasons)(28 episodes)

The web series is a coming of age comedy where four street-savvy friends who lead their life through distress, conquest in their new high school experience in a rough inner city.

It embodies their relationship with each other and has a good depiction of emotions, urgency, and direction. The writers claim they were inspired by true life incidences and experiences of people in such towns. The way they present it, dramatically, is remarkable along with their soundtrack which has won hearts all over.

The show is to fall in love with, it's funny, heartwarming and tragic as well. It was originally in Spanish and was later dubbed in English.

The First episode was showed on 16 March 2018 and was rated 95% by rotten tomatoes, claiming that the show has unique qualities. It's a relatable show for the teenagers from homework to dating to having extreme mood swings.

8) 13 Reasons Why

The series started with a season revolving around a high school girl, Hannah Baker who took her own life after having to face gossip, bullying, and sexual assault at the school and a lack of support from her friends, her family, and her school. She delivered a box of cassette tapes recorded by herself in the weeks preceding her suicide details as to why she chose to end her life, to a friend, who she trusted the most at that point, Tony Padilla.

When they reach, Clay Jensen, he stars to ask questions and tries to get her justice as he had feelings for her and now, she was gone. In further seasons the story goes on about mysterious events and tragic losses. It is a high school, teen drama, fiascos, and losses.

It deals with suicide, abuse, violence, so see as per your ability. The title "13 reasons why" was to portray all 13 tapes with 13 reasons Hannah recorded. Few characters are the spirit of the show and it reflects the different lives of various people and how they live it.

9) Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

(2 seasons)(20 episodes)

Sabrina is a teenager who fights her duel nature, being half-mortal and half-which. She faces the evil forces that threaten her family. She practices witchcraft with such dedication but still gets discriminated as her mother was a human who married a warlock.

Surprises come her way and she has to prove herself at every step. She is always the target of every new complication. The show is claimed to be a spin-off for the web series, 'Riverdale'.

Both the shows have a lot of references to each other. It was passed as an Occult fiction.

The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television, in association with Berlanti Productions and Archie Comics. Filming took place in Vancouver, British Columbia. The show was released worldwide on Netflix and the first two episodes were shown as a special screening in Paris ComicCon.

10) Money Heist (2 seasons, 4 parts)(31 episodes)

The show is a crime thriller. A gang of eight people with certain abilities who don't have anything to lose get recruited by a criminal mastermind refers to himself as 'The Professor'. The thieves carry out grand plans.

They plan a perfect strategy crime with each of their abilities at hand. Soon, the authorities plan on capturing the so-called professor but they can't expect a showdown on themselves by the very people they plan to take down.

The original production language was Spanish, with a country of origin being Spain. This precise work earned a lot of awards in the last couple of years and was well known for the storyline. It was the most watch non-English tv show on Netflix and was a hit in Europe and the Latin world.

Initially, it was supposed to be of just two parts but later was broken down into two parts each in a season, which was to make the content more understandable.

11) Pretty Little Liars (7 seasons)(160 episodes)

A night out gone wrong, when one of the friends from a group of five, goes missing. A tale of four pretty girls who carry some not so pretty secrets and are willing to do anything to save them! When an unidentified person signing itself as 'A' threatens the very secrets, their lives go upside down.

They lie their way to protect them and go desperate to hide the things from others. They face consequences that made them miserable and were drilled to break but being together resulted in strength to fight. Along the way they unravel more mysteries they never thought existed.

The series makes you want more, you crave another episode, every time.

The show achieved a high series that has been released in summer vacations being a summer run for the teens. It was one of the family's top telecast to date. It is written by Sara Shepard and directed by creator I. Marlene King.

12) Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2 seasons)(16 episodes)

Tom Clancy, the author of the books, Jack Ryan, from where the series was influenced on the tv screen by Morten Tyldum and Daniel Sackheim. Composed by Ramin Djawadi, well known for his scores for the Iron Man.

Amazon original thriller that centers on Ryan as an up-and-coming CIA analyst. He got drifted into his first dangerous field assignment and how he reveals a terrorist communication pattern which makes him a hero but a threat for some specifics. He gets in the middle of a war zone to prove himself and he has to make it out alive.

Web series is a political thriller with amazing action and was awarded many grants for the all-rounder.
