The queen of Nevermore Academy is back, this time with more adventures in store for her! Wednesday Addams, the titular protagonist of Wednesday, played by our favourite Jenna Ortega, is back with her goth style and she will be gracing our screens very soon. This August, all Wednesday fans are in for a treat. Get ready, because it is about to get dark.

Recap of Season 1

In season 1 of Wednesday, Wednesday is shown to be a cold and expression-less savage teenager. Wednesday arrives to Jericho to attend Nevermore Academy. She has to share a room with a person who is very unlike her, a bubbly girl who is all colours and smiles, Enid Sinclair. Enid and Wednesday do become friends but it takes them time.

The main plot of the season is a monster killing many people in the town. Wednesday makes fast friends with a waiter in a café named Tyler, and also falls for him. But it turns out that Tyler is the monster killing everybody in the town, who is controlled by their teacher, Marilyn Thornhill. Thornhill and Tyler also kill the beloved principal of Nevermore Academy.

At the end, Wednesday defeats the monster as well by stabbing him, and Thornhill is shown covered in bees, which make her fate unclear. The finale shows Wednesday going back home for break and Tyler is taken away. Xavier, another friend Wednesday made along the way, gave her a phone to contact everyone. But a stalker seems to be sending messages to Wednesday.

What Does the Teaser Reveal?

The teaser shows Wednesday at the airport going to security check, and the alarm buzzes. Wednesday empties out all of her weapons (an extensive amount of weapons) but then the officer checks her bag and finds a big pack of sun cream, which is the reason why the alarm buzzed. Wednesday looks at Thing and says, "Sun cream. Seriously?" with a deadpan face, and it is clear that Thing packed the sun cream.

There is also a new student at Nevermore Academy, and in the teaser, he is shown using his power of lightning on a signboard saying 'Jericho 5 miles' and bringing down the sign.

Wednesday is also shown crying black tears, indicating there might be something wrong with her powers. And lastly, the hyde is back! The teaser shows a small clip of Wednesday and the hyde standing face to face.

Wednesday will reunite with her best friend Enid Sinclair, and this time Enid becomes a bolder character. There will be a lot of focus on Wednesday's family, as the actors of Morticia, Gomez, Pugsley, and Fester have been promoted to regular roles.

Where Can You Watch It?

Wednesday Season 2 will be available to stream on Netflix, just like its prequel season.

The Long-Awaited Release Date

The wait is finally over! The teaser of Wednesday Season 2 reveals the release date as well. The season will have eight episodes in total, and it will be released in two parts.

The first four episodes, i.e., the first part will be released on 6th August, 2025. The last four episodes, i.e., the second part, will be released on the 3rd September, 2025.

Conclusion

The season 2 will come out in two parts, the first part coming out on 6th August, the second part coming out on 3rd September. It is also a very interesting marketing scheme that the teaser was released on April 23, a Wednesday, the first part will be released on 6th August, Wednesday, and the second part will be released on third September, Wednesday. Coincidence?

I think not. So mark your calendars, the mystery is just getting started.
