2. DIY Bath Bomb

DIY Bath Bomb Recipe

I don't know about you, but I would be BEYOND excited to receive any form of self-care product, especially a bath bomb! Bath bombs are the perfect addition to absolutely any bath, especially during the colder months, when taking a bath is your only source of warmth and comfort. If interested, this recipe is incredibly simple, and contains a beautifully soothing combination of dried rose petals and rose oil!

What You Need:

  • 1 cup baking soda

  • 1/2 cup citric acid

  • 1/2 cup Epsom salt

  • 1/2 cup dried rose petals

  • 1 tsp rose oil

  • 3 tsp coconut oil

  • 1 tsp water

  • Food coloring

Steps To Make:

  • In a bowl, combine the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, and dried rose petals.

  • Then, in a separate bowl, mix the rose oil, coconut oil, water, and food coloring.

  • Next, combine both the wet and dry ingredients, little by little.

  • Form the ingredients into balls, or use a bath bomb mold. Leave to set on a tray, and store at room temperature.

3. Wire & Stone Rings

Wire & Stone Ring

Next up, we have these adorable Wire & Stone Rings which are absolute essential for any crystal or jewelry lover! With the help of just a few tools, you can easily make these incredibly pretty rings that your friends will love! One of these rings alongside a bag of candy sounds like the perfect gift to me!

What You Need:

  • 40 cm of 0.8mm sterling silver round wire

  • Gemstone of your choice

  • Side Cutters

  • Triblet

  • Flat nose pliers

  • Snipe nose pliers

Steps To Make:

  • Firstly, lay the wire on a flat surface and measure 40cm. Then, cut with side cutters.

  • Next, gently blend the wire in half around the triblet. Position the wire exactly where you would like the ring size to be. If you don't have a triblet, feel free to use a wooden spoon handle, pen, makeup brush, etc.

  • Then, wrap one end of the wire around the triplet, leaving two loose ends. With these two ends, individually wrap each end under the wire ring, leaving enough space for your given stone. Feel free to follow the linked images for guidance!

  • Use the flat nose pliers to flatten the curve where your stone will lay. Then, hold the stone in place and wrap one end around the stone to hold it in place. Continue creating extra loops to secure the stone.

  • Finally, use side cutters to snip off any lost wires, and re-shape to the correct size using your triblet!
