Ainsley Ross is a 20-year-old American singer, songwriter, actor, model, and martial artist. As you can already tell, sheâs a very well-rounded celebrity with experiences in almost all media fields. Not only that, but she actually started her career from a very young age.
She has started acting since the age of 9, acting in a small-town community theater. By the time she was 14, she had already written over 80 songs! âMy first project I was actually an extra for âSuper kidâs Academy.â That was the first set I had ever been on. I remember the experience like it was yesterday.â
As a very successful young woman, Ainsley Ross sets an example for other young people who would also like to pursue a career like hers and has some strong advice to give to them. âKnow who you are as a person, and what you will and wonât compromise. This is one of the hardest industries out there. Donât go into the âindustry looking for it to define you.
You go into it to define the industry! Believe in yourself, and keep working, learning, and practicing. Persistence is key.â
However, out of everything she does, she wants to be remembered for her personality rather than her work. She says: âHonestly, I want to leave behind a legacy of hope, inspiration, and love. I would love to be remembered for the person I am, and the message I have to share. I would like for people to remember me as kind, inspirational, and loving to all.â
In addition to all of that, she often devotes her work for good causes. Ainsley Rossâs song âWe Are 1â sends a beautiful message that is presented in both the music video and song lyrics!
âThis message is so important to me. âWe are 1â truly states that we are all joined together. We all want love and respect. There is so much hate in our world, derived from; political views, religion, ethnicity, and personal agendas.
As I was writing this song it was very clear to me that different artists stylistically from different cultures come together as 1 to deliver a powerful message of Unity. "We Are 1â has a powerful and beautiful message. There is a need in the world for a song that unites instead of divides people like the song âWe Are The Worldâ has made us all feel for years.
The skills Ainsley possesses have been in her blood since she was so young, and now she shares with us her creative process when writing song lyrics, acting, and performing stunts! âItâs always different. When it comes to songs the idea usually hits me like a ton of bricks, and I have to find a piece of paper as soon as possible. In acting, itâs a lengthy process of character breakdown, auditioning, and callbacks. For stunts, I am inspired by various action choreography from different films.â
Starring as âMia Hillâ in the 2019 TV show âShould I do itâ, Ainsley exclusively shares one of her many funny behind the scenes moments! âThe makeup artist and I actually really hit it off. So when there was a break on set we literally had a karaoke moment and turned our music up, and started singing every word, and dancing. It was hilarious, we had the best time.â
Ainsley is well-known for her martial arts background. She started professional martial arts only when she was nine years old, and martial arts plays an extremely important role in her life.
âI got involved and invested in martial arts when I was nine years old. From that point on I trained in the art of Taekwondo until I earned my first-degree black belt. A few of my many skill sets eventually included class leader, instructor, national champion, and tactical weapons training.
Due to moving to Los Angeles for industry purposes, I wanted to further my knowledge and love for martial arts. Thatâs when I found XMA World Headquarters (Extreme Martial Arts World Headquarters), trained by the one and only blue power ranger Mike Chat himself! In XMA, I learned a variety of stunts for film!
This was truly a whole new world for me because stunts are so different than traditional fighting. I learned aspects of close-range military combatives, Krav Maga, Jiu-Jitsu, and elements of many other defense mechanisms. When I started learning stunts for film, it opened my heart to a whole new world, and it had my heart and soul ever since.â
âIt is so important to me. Martial arts have taught me many different things such as self-love, respect for myself, respect for others, teamwork, and the art of giving back in your community. Martial arts prepared me for life, and it's such a huge piece of who I am.. I like to say âSometimes people only see one side to fighting, and that is the actual fight.
However, what they do not see are the opponents shaking hands and hugging after a fight, fighters volunteering for charities, and teaching kids and people to know their worth and build their confidence.â This is why the Martial arts and stunts and always will remain huge impacts in my life. My soul feels whole because of it! This is one of my many outlets of self-expression for me.â
Ainsley Ross also has a bright future that is perfectly balanced with her personal life and also public life as a celebrity. She shares some of her future plans, saying: âI am currently going to college to obtain my degree in Occupational therapy. I have a series in pre-production right now, a song release on the horizon, and a brand launch in 2021! My future plans consist of graduating, working hard, getting married, and starting my own family.â
Just as you thought thereâs nothing else she can do, Iâm here to prove you wrong. Ainsley also has side hobbies other than all of this. âI LOVE fitness and working out. It is once more another outlet of self-expression for me. In my free time, I do a lot of sketching as well.â What a versatile inspiration, indeed!
But with more success comes more hate. Ainsley tells us about her poised method of handling hate and overcoming obstacles. She says: âHandle it with grace and allow the haters to propel you to make you better at your craft.
Haterâs come into our lives to remind us of the potential we have, and the growth in which is occurring in our own lives. I personally allow it to propel me, and make me a stronger person. Sometimes I reply, and sometimes I donât depend on the intention behind the message. Remember you are your worst critic.â
When dealing with the current pandemic, Ainsley has a unique perspective. âIt is all about perspective," She explains, "I am very blessed and rolling with the punches like everyone else. It is honestly all in what you make of it. I choose to create content amidst this time and dive in creatively. We can all still change the world...even if it is from home.â
At this point, I asked Ainsley a couple of random fun questions, and her replies cracked me up.
