Rosie got her start in a singing duo with her older cousin Sophia Grace Brownlee. The young singers posted their cover of the Nicki Minaj song "Starships" on Youtube and went viral with over 50 million views. They soon became regulars on the Ellen DeGeneres show, performing and interviewing celebrities on red carpets, including Grammy award-winning artists Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber.
The duo continued to gain popularity and even won the 2012 Teen Choice Award for Choice Webstar. In 2014 McClelland and Brownlee starred in their own movie titled " Sophia Grace & Rosie's Royal Adventure" as well as made the New York Times Best Seller list for their 2 published books. The singers soon showed the world their impressive acting skills by having reoccurring roles on the hit Nickelodeon tv show "Sam and Cat", starring Ariana Grande and Jennette Mccurdy. A few years later the duo seemed to take a break, both girls staying away from social media. So, where is the talented Rosie McClelland now?
To put it simply: She's a pop superstar! In 2018 Rosie released her first solo single titled "Handstand" which gained nearly 10 million views on Youtube, which she performed live at the 2019 Playlist Live. Last year, the teenage influencer released "LaLa", a powerful song that has over 1 million views on Youtube, and was performed by Rosie live at Famous Birthdays, who has featured several influencers including Tik Tok stars Charli D'Amelio and Addison Rae. She's also a popular Youtuber, posting videos of her daily routines and music covers. Could it get any better? Apparently it can!

The lyrics urge listeners all around the world to get up and dance with a beat inspired by Meghan Trainor's 'All About That Bass". The song is a very catchy pop hit, that definitely makes you want to "Tik Tok"! Speaking of Tik Tok, she has an account on the platform herself which has gained over 3 million likes. She's definitely proving that she's not the little 5 year-old girl anymore; she's evolved into the pop singer we all need.
