2) Guava Lemonade

When I think of guava, I imagine a photogenic, tropical fruit. If you have never tried guava or are a fan, this recipe from The Fit Cookie is for you!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 5-7 medium lemons)
  • 1 ¼ cup unbleached cane sugar (regular white sugar is fine, too)
  • ½ large lemon, sliced
  • 2 cups water, divided
  • 2 ripe guava
  • 4 cups ice
  • Additional cold water

Directions:

  1. First, take your lemons and juice them until you have about 1 ¼ cups of fresh lemon juice. Make sure to strain out the seeds! Next, grab a small saucepan and mix the lemon juice with some sugar, 1 cup of water, and a few lemon slices. Put it on the stove over medium-low heat. Keep an eye on it for about 12-15 minutes, and stir until the sugar is all melted and the lemon slices get a little see-through.</li>
  2. Don’t skip the lemon slices! They add awesome flavor without making your lemonade bitter because of the lemon oil in the rind. While that’s cooking, get a ripe guava, cut it into quarters, and blend it with 1 cup of water until it’s smooth. Then, pour the guava mix through a metal strainer to get rid of the seeds, and keep the cloudy juice — that’s what we want!
  3. Once your lemon mixture is done, stir the guava juice into it — it’ll look kinda cloudy, but that’s normal! Now, take a 2-quart pitcher and fill it with 4 cups of ice. Pour your lemon and guava mix over the ice, and then add enough cold water to fill the pitcher up to 2 quarts.
  4. Serve it cold and throw in some lemon slices to make it look fancy. Enjoy your delicious lemonade!

3) Kiwi and Strawberry Lemonade

Kiwis are enjoyable, but when paired with strawberries, they become spectacular! This recipe from Creme De La Crumb will have you dancing with joy!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water
  • ⅔ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup strawberries - hulled and diced
  • ½ cup kiwis - peeled and sliced

Instructions:

  1. First, take some water, lemon juice, and sugar, and mix them together in a blender. Then, throw in some strawberries and kiwis and blend everything until it’s nice and smooth. If you don’t like the little bits, you can pour the mix through a strainer to get rid of the pulp. Pop it in the fridge to chill until you’re ready to drink it!

4) Mango Lemonade

If you haven't tried mango yet, you're missing out on a multitude of flavors and a refreshing summer crunch. But don't worry, this recipe from Jo Cooks is for you!

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 large mangos
  • 6 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 7 cups water

Instructions:

  1. First, grab a saucepan and add some sugar along with 1 cup of water. Heat it up on medium, stirring a lot until the sugar totally dissolves. Once that's done, take it off the heat and let it cool down completely.
  2. Next, take a blender and put in the mango and 3 cups of water. Blend it really well until it’s all smooth. After that, pour the mixture into a pitcher using a fine strainer or sieve to catch any chunks.
  3. Finally, add the rest of the 3 cups of water, some lemon juice, and the syrup you made earlier into the pitcher and give it a good stir. If you want, you can put ice in the pitcher or just pour the mango lemonade over cups of ice so it doesn’t get watered down. Enjoy!

5) Blueberry Lemonade

Did you know that blueberries have Vitamin C and promote your heart health, according to GoodFood? Imagine all those amazing benefits combined with the refreshing taste of lemonade. Can you guess what that creates?

You got it—blueberry lemonade! This recipe from The Pioneer Woman will remind you of just how good it can be.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 9 lemons
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • Sparkling water

Directions:

  1. To make simple syrup, grab a medium saucepan and heat 1 cup of water with some sugar over medium heat. Stir it every now and then until all the sugar is gone. Once it’s all mixed, take it off the heat and let it cool.
  2. Next, squeeze your lemons until you have about 1½ cups of lemon juice. In a big pitcher, toss in the blueberries and mash them up using a potato masher or the end of a wooden spoon. Then, fill the pitcher with ice. Now add the lemon juice, 1 cup of the simple syrup you made earlier, and 5 cups of cold water. Give it a good stir!
  3. Finally, pour the lemonade into glasses and top each one with some sparkling water. Don’t forget to throw in more blueberries for a cool touch! Enjoy!
