I had the worst skin until August 2025. Being North Indian, I have very fair skin, but I was badly tanned. Alongside the tan, I struggled with acne, grey patches all over my body, and body acne as well.
Fortunately, I now have much less acne and fewer clogged pores, and my complexion is clearer and fairer. This is my skincare routine that has worked miracles for me, and I believe it can work wonders for you too.
Before you start:
A. I want clear skin and the complexion I am meant to have. Trust me, all girls need to understand that their skin color is the best. This routine works for me, and here are my tips.
B. Understand your skin type.

1. Mask
A. I have very fragile and sensitive skin, a little bit of anything, and it gets irritated, so the first thing I do is a mask.
Ingredients:
1, Gram Flour/ besan
2. Coffee
3. A little bit of lemon juice
4. Yogurt
5. Pinch of turmeric
Make sure the consistency is not too runny and is just right, adding only a little lemon, not too much. I like to wash my face for 1 minute and 30 seconds to help clear the base and open my pores so the mask can penetrate and cleanse completely. Leave the mask on until it dries, then rinse with lukewarm water.
I like to immediately apply a peel-off mask after using a coffee mask on my nose and chin. The peel-off mask removes sebum from deep within the pores, as well as blackheads, leaving my skin looking shiny and much cleaner.

2. Deep Cleansing
I like to use my Cetaphil cleanser for this. It's very soft on sensitive skin and has worked the best for me. I go in for two minds of cleansing, making sure it cleanses every part of my skin.

3. Ice Facial
In ice facials, we help close the pores to prevent impurities from entering the skin. This treatment also promotes blood circulation in the face, resulting in a glowing complexion, and helps to reduce puffiness. It's essentially just frozen water—there's nothing complicated about it!
4. Toner
I like to use my Cetaphil toner to ensure my skin is toned and all impurities on the surface are removed, while also brightening my skin.

5. The Last Trick: Moisturize
This combines all the beneficial products. I use my Cetaphil moisturizer, which locks in hydration and gives my skin a bouncy effect.

I drink this tonic every single day
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2tsp of turmeric
- 1/3 tsp black pepper
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 tbsp fresh Ginger juice
This product clears my skin, fades greys, and naturally detans it. It improves my complexion and works internally to make my skin look younger and glowy. This tonic has done wonders for me.

Body Care
I prefer shaving over waxing, and this is how I manage to avoid thick hair growth. My shaves last more than nine days, and I have very smooth skin that resembles the skin of models—poreless and free of strawberry skin. Additionally, shaving helps to even out my skin tone.
Ingredients:
- Half a cup of sugar
- 2 tbsp of coffee
- Lemon juice
Make sure the scrub has a solid consistency and is not runny. Avoid adding too much lemon water. Apply the scrub to your skin for a maximum of 30-40 seconds, then wash it off.
Immediately after rinsing, shave that area. This will help you achieve that beautiful, long-lasting skin you desire.

Tips:
- Make sure your skin is covered to reduce the chances of a tan
- Always apply sunscreen. People with coloured skin should only use PA+++ sunscreen to protect the melanin in their skin and prevent damage.
Remember that the ideal for healthier skin is the one you already have. Whether you have acne, small bumps, or any other skin issues, you are just as attractive as anyone else. Embrace your uniqueness and own it because you are beautiful just the way you are.
