So, what’s the tea on Vie?

First, the sound. The artist selected retro pop elements, which combine with refined rhythmic patterns to produce enduring tunes that generate visual experiences for window viewers. The last album from her featured strong eyeliner, yet Vie brings a fresh, sparkly lip gloss look. The song maintains Doja's typical sound, although it introduces fresh musical elements. Doja admitted this herself:

“I do want to be self-aware enough to admit the fact that this is a pop-driven project. I know that I can make pop music, and pop is just that it’s popular.” She explained that she has “a lot more knowledge of how to use my voice as an instrument, more than I ever have in my life.”

The Big Three Themes

The narrative presents two main themes, which include love and jealousy, and personal growth. Love functions as one of the three core themes in this story alongside jealousy and growth. She talked about the themes in her interview:

“The concept is very much about love, romance and relationships, not just with others, but with oneself. There are other things outside of myself that were inspiring me to write about these things. I had been in relationships that made me think about things in a different way, and I think naivety is a big part of this album too... I speak about rushing and love bombing in a way. That’s kind of a big one.”

Yep, the big three. Doja delivers standard teenage emotions through her music, which combines upbeat dance sounds with emotional elements that produce both joyful and melancholic sensations. The scene would show someone playing a sad song while eating chips in bed with total drama.

What will we experience?

The performance will present a series of energetic musical numbers together with tender, heartfelt melodies. The tracks will make you scream during sleepovers, but the next ones will play in your loneliness at 2 a.m. when you're doubting everything about yourself. Doja's previous music era showed wild confidence, but now she reveals her real self while keeping her charm intact.
