Lifestyle

With everything going on in the world, you might need time to relax and de-stress. Because of online school, you've probably spent entire days staring at a screen, wondering if any of this would ever end and hoping you'd see your friends again. Luckily, I have the perfect solution for you. Why not listen to some podcasts? Listening is a great way to entertain yourself without having to look at a screen and make time pass more quickly. Podcasts range from a wide variety of topics: from productivity to comedy, to music, and many more. Here are some podcasts you should listen to as a teen.

1. Teenager Therapy

Teenager Therapy, a podcast started by five teenagers (Gael, Mark, Thomas, Kayla, and Isaac) in a bedroom a few years ago, has gained immense popularity among teens. Their topics range from everything a teen could think and wonder about: from mental health, family, and school to friends and sexuality. Their conversations are very raw and honest; they never hold back on anything, and they never script their episodes, giving you the feeling you are having a conversation with them. If you are looking for a podcast that deals with serious topics like mental health or less-serious topics like fashion, this is the podcast for you.

3. Welcome to Night Vale

If you enjoy mystery stories, you should listen to Welcome to Night Vale, a community radio broadcast from a fictional town called Night Vale. Twice a month, the podcast updates its listeners on the happenings of the town. There is a slight creepiness and eeriness to the episodes which feature the town's news, local weather, announcements from the Sheriff's Secret Police, and much more. It sounds like a real radio station, which makes it so much more interesting to listen to.
