With everything going on in the world, you might need time to relax and de-stress. Because of online school, you've probably spent entire days staring at a screen, wondering if any of this would ever end and hoping you'd see your friends again. Luckily, I have the perfect solution for you. Why not listen to some podcasts? Listening is a great way to entertain yourself without having to look at a screen and make time pass more quickly. Podcasts range from a wide variety of topics: from productivity to comedy, to music, and many more. Here are some podcasts you should listen to as a teen.
1. Teenager Therapy
Teenager Therapy, a podcast started by five teenagers (Gael, Mark, Thomas, Kayla, and Isaac) in a bedroom a few years ago, has gained immense popularity among teens. Their topics range from everything a teen could think and wonder about: from mental health, family, and school to friends and sexuality. Their conversations are very raw and honest; they never hold back on anything, and they never script their episodes, giving you the feeling you are having a conversation with them. If you are looking for a podcast that deals with serious topics like mental health or less-serious topics like fashion, this is the podcast for you.

2. Stuff You Should Know
If you have been wanting to learn something new, check out this awesome podcast hosted by Charles “Chuck” Bryant and Josh Clark. Their topics range from pop culture, history, and science to everything in between. If you were wondering what the oldest book is or how the Titanic worked, this is the podcast for you. The podcast's episodes will leave you feeling as if you know a lot more about a certain topic. The podcast also uploads episodes several times a week, giving you the perfect opportunity to learn new things throughout your week.
3. Welcome to Night Vale
If you enjoy mystery stories, you should listen to Welcome to Night Vale, a community radio broadcast from a fictional town called Night Vale. Twice a month, the podcast updates its listeners on the happenings of the town. There is a slight creepiness and eeriness to the episodes which feature the town's news, local weather, announcements from the Sheriff's Secret Police, and much more. It sounds like a real radio station, which makes it so much more interesting to listen to.
4. Let's Be Real With Sammy Jaye
At just 18 years old, Sammy Jaye, a relatable teenager, hosts the podcast Let's Be Real With Sammy Jaye, where she talks with celebrities like Dixie D'Amelio, Ellie Zeiler, Kesha, FINNEAS, Jordan Fisher, and Lauv. Sammy Jaye interviews celebrities, athletes, activists, and influencers about topics ranging from mental health to pop culture and much more. She is the youngest person to host her own podcast on iHeart Radio and was featured in PopSugar's 20-Under-20 list. Episodes come out once a week.
