Have you struggled with dry, chapped lips? Me too. Most of my life, I have struggled with peeling, bleeding, cracking, splitting - you name it.
I've even used medicated lip treatment. In total, I've tried probably dozens or over a hundred lip balms, glosses, treatments, masks, butters, ointments, etc.
With these credentials, let me put you on some of the best lip products that you need to cure your chapped lips.
I am going to count down until we get to the #1 lip product for chapped lips.

I like the formula of this lip mask because it's a bit heavier, so it's perfect for putting on before sleep. I can always count on this to smooth my lips by morning, especially in the winter. So far I've gone through a full size of this and 2 minis. The smell literally is so good - trust me, any flavor you buy will be good.
Korean skincare and products are known to be some of the best in the world, and seeing that Laneige is a Korean brand, you just know this is going to moisturize your lips and leave them so soft. In fact, in my experience, it's the only lip product that will make my lips baby soft. So reach for this one if you want unreal, luscious lips.

#4: Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Gloss Balm
Let me introduce you to the glossiest lip balm you'll ever see. It's the perfect combination of a lip gloss and lip balm in a lip mask container. I also find this makes my lips look shiny even 3 hours later.
The reason it isn't higher up is that the consistency is a bit sticky for me and not as hydrating for chapped lips. However, it's good for more plump, fuller lips.
A drawback I've noticed is that when I drink water or something, it'll come off on the drink. I prefer this if I know I'm not going to be eating anytime soon. Additionally, I love how it smells like actual plums and reduces the look of chapped lines on my lips. It's an overall great choice for nourishment and fuller lips.

#3: Laneige Lip Glowy Balm
As you can see, I have a lot of the Laneige lip glow balms. But for a good reason. I'll reach for these anytime, anywhere, every day, all day.
Eat, sleep, breathe this one lip balm. You're at home? This can be on the table next to you. In the car? Plop it in the cupholder. At the store? Fits in your purse. At school? Pocket-friendly and goes in your bag. Windy outside? It's not sticky. Want shiny lips? It's a gloss balm. If I don't have one of these on me at any given time of day, that means I forgot it, and I'm currently crying.
There's a reason I have 7 of them and multiple different flavours, and also why I've repurchased the gummy bear twice. Yes, they are that good. They did repackage these more recently, so that's why the grapefruit and one of the gummy bears are slightly taller.
The flavours are so good that I literally lick my lips while this is on. For the amount that you're getting, $19 is expensive, but it's worth it because when you put this on: chapped lips, who? Not you! I find this to be the only shiny gloss that isn't sticky.

#2: Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm
You already know I had to add Summer Fridays to this list. It wouldn't be complete without it. I don't know what's in this tube, but my lips are always so smooth when I apply this.
It also lasts forever, like, actually, I've had these for two years, believe it or not. I use them almost every day, and I'm not even near done. I promise, they are never-ending.
This is the only butter balm I've ever tried, to be honest, and I was sceptical. I was expecting it to feel buttery or velvety on my lips - but I was so wrong. TikTok was right - this deserves all the hype, and I know why it was always sold out by the Sephora girls.
They are the perfect consistency, smell amazing, have a good tint, are long-lasting, and nourish my lips. This is a definite repurchase.

#1:Aquaphor
I know, I know, this is the hundredth time you've seen someone talk about Aquaphor and how good it is. I actually used to think it was overrated. If you don't like it either, then take a moment to read the label...
Notice how it's specifically for dry, cracked, chapped, irritated lips AND even skin. I use the big tube for EVERYTHING. My brows, lips, lashes, dry hands, ashy skin, irritated skin, whatever. It's not just good for healing your lips (that's right, it doesn't just nourish guys, it heals).
There's a reason it also says 'dermatologist recommended' (that's how you know it works). I started using it before bed, and if I am at someone else's house overnight, I usually pack one thing, Aquaphor. It is long-lasting and gives a noticeable difference.

Everyone's lips are different, so what works for me might not work for you. But in my experience, the higher-end lip products are worth it. They are longer-lasting and taste really good.
Products like Burt's Bees, Carmex, EOS, Chapstick, and Babylips don't help my chapped lips at all. However, it's always the thick and sticky lipsticks that hydrate the most. Look for products with healing ingredients and nourishing components. If you take away anything from this article, please go buy Aquaphor - (you're welcome).
