I grew up watching lifestyle vlogs, whether that was a soft, sweet, "Spend A Day With Me As a High School Senior" or an adventurous, exciting "Come Visit A Renowned Bar In Italy With Me"! Personally, these 20-30 minutes long-form videos make my day so much brighter.
Different to the short videos that only let you see snippets, these long videos always seem more sincere and approachable. Often times, a vlogger, although dependent on their personal styles, would spend authentic minutes in front of the camera, debriefing and reflecting on their experiences as they go throughout their days.
I watch a lot of vlogs and know a lot of content creators, but here are four of my favorite ones I would like to share. Although different in styles, they always manage to achieve one thing in common: put a smile on my face that could sustain me throughout the day! They bring a sense of intimacy and connection that feels almost like having a conversation with a friend.
Each of these creators, whether through cozy narration, breathtaking visuals, or thoughtful reflections, manages to capture everyday life in a way that feels both personal and inspiring.

Julia Bedell has been vlogging for quite a long time, and I know that because I have been watching her videos for as long as I can remember (probably since middle school)! Raised in Massachusetts, she started off very young as a filming slime videos that then switched to lifestyle content creation around high school. Prior to entering high school, her videos really gave me a sense of what life would be like, whether that is cramming for AP exams or driving to training everyday after school.
It is (very) noteworthy to mention that she is a former D1 gymnast and also a recent graduate from Brown University. I also love watching her college videos and travel vlogs as well, where she really is able to make everything seem so interesting and productive. Speaking of productivity, Julia also loves making these "Productive Morning Routines" where she wakes up at 5 a.m. and lives through an insanely packed schedule. Not something I could do, personally, but I still love that for her!
Above is one of my favorite videos I still watch from time to time. Her high school videos are also super cute and comforting to watch!

2. Millie Liao
Okay this video I'm linking is probably not the best representation of her average content, but I'm still linking it because I love her New York series since it fulfilled my fantasy for the big city! Millie Liao is a college content creator at Yale University who posts, precisely, one video per every two weeks, where she usually vlogs her academic and social life. I have so, so much love for her because she is such an interesting person with a fascinating sense of humor. I mean, yes she does go to Yale but I also don't think she takes her college's prestige that seriously.
What I like most about her is her ability to show vulnerability in front of the camera, where she tells her audience on her recent dilemmas or insecurities. But most of the time she gives golden retriever energy and I can always see her passion for life in general. I also love that for her!
3. HJ Evelyn
The Ha Sisters are, obviously, super viral and renowned, but I would still add them onto the list because I love them so much (and just in case people don't already know them). Evelyn, Erica, and Emily (in order of age) are three Korean-American sisters based in New York City each five years old apart from one another.
The content they make is so diverse and eye-opening, whether it's staying at a super expensive, celebrity-famous resort in Utah or flying across the world to Thailand where one of them accidently lost their passport. They travel a lot to a variety of places and do bizarre challenges, so their content would never really get boring.
The thing I love most about them is the compatibility of their personalities. The three of them have very distinct personalities and even aesthetics, but together, they match so well with one another so their interactions are always sweet and funny.
4. Kay B Chung
Honestly, Kay Chung might not be the most active poster on YouTube (she posts mainly on TikTok and Instagram I would say), but when she does she still makes my day. Kay Chung is a dental student at UCLA, and she vlogs herself pulling all-nighters before a final with an insane time schedule. It is almost not difficult to tell how hard it is to study dentistry, because her life — a mixture between school work, tests, labs and hanging out with friends seems so fulfilling.
However, Chung never sugar-coats her life, and often shows the audience moments of mental breakdown and hardship. I love watching her because she's so funny and real!
Conclusion
Long-form vlogs, in particular, allow for this sense of connection — viewers are invited into someone’s world not just for a fleeting moment, but for a sustained period of time where sincerity can unfold. To me, watching these creators feels less like consuming content and more like catching up with a friend.
