Kaila Hu is an incoming freshman at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. In high school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of her school newspaper, contributed to several youth publications across the D.C./DMV area, and was a Student Advisory Board Member of the Quill and Scroll National Honor Society. She plans to study journalism, international relations, and French, with the goal of pursuing a career in foreign correspondence and global media.
