Being Anti-Brainrot is something all of society desperately needs in the world today. Where did brainrot even come from again? Who knows. Today I will be talking about my agenda as a very Anti-Brainrot agenda as a teen managing their time with intention and wise thinking!

Let's be honest, no one and I mean no one wants to get up in the mornings but we have to. Even I struggle with getting up at 5 am to do a 90 step routine to start my day. On good days, I'll get up at 5, help my siblings get ready and head straight back to bed until 8 or 9 in the morning. (If you can't tell, I'm homeschooled!) Once I'm up, I get out of bed and do a quick kneeling prayer. ( I am very religious so I totally recommend for christians!) Once I do that, I head straight downstairs to make myself some breakfast.
No devices, no tv, no computer. Just a morning where I can relax and clear my head before the big day ahead.

I usually make breakfast for my family that is still at home at that time. And once that is done, I'll eat and get straight on class. I usually have a bit of time in the mornings after breakfast to be able to finish some assignments or get a headstart on some of the work I need to do that day which is very helpful as a busy teen.
I check my calendar, get a few assignments done and then on Tuesdays and Thursdays, class is from 9 to 12. But on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I'm basically just doing assignments during this time. That's a lot of time out of my morning on devices but I rarely use devices, only for school or studying.

On days that I don't have live classes, which is 3 days out of the week, I am either doing devices or I am cleaning up the house or getting ready for my day a bit earlier than usual. After I finish my classes and assignments, I turn on my instrumental music on the tv and head straight in the shower.

2. The Evening.
After my shower, I get started on my morning skincare and body routine which takes about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the hairstyle I wanna do that day. By this time, it is either 11-12 on no live lesson days or 12-1 on live lesson days. After I get ready, I clean up my room a bit and make my bed.
Honestly, making your bed is essential in your morning or evening routine. It makes you feel cleaner, more organized and just put together as a person. Once I started making my bed, I felt so much better and calmer when I walked into my room.

After all that mess is done, I pack my bag to get ready to head out and pick the kids up for school. And at this rate, I only have like 30 minutes before I have to leave so I sometimes get out my Bible and notebook and start studying a bit and just getting into that word because if you're Christian, you know that the daily bread is very essential.
I only read my Bible at this time for like 10 minutes because I still have to get my little siblings ready to go as well and if I have time, I'll wash the dishes as well so I won't have to do it when I get home. Once all that is done, I'm heading out to the car with all of the kids and we're ready to hit that 30 minute road trip to the kids's schools.

During this time, me and my mom usually just talk and chat it up because this is really the only time out of the day that we can, considering I have 8 siblings that live with me. Our talks are always great and she teaches me a lot. If you and your mom don't talk on the regular day basis, I advise you to do so even if y'all aren't that close cuz me and my mom are not even that close and we can have a civil conversation that is sometimes needed.
If me and my mom aren't talking in the car then I am reading my book. Y'all know I am a heavy reader, I literally love to read, it's my favorite thing to do and it's great for the mind.

Picking up the kids takes like 3 hours, in those 3 hours we're going to dollar tree or mcdonalds in between schools because why not? After all that chaotic mess is over, we get home. I end up always doing a little more cleaning so my mom won't call me downstairs to do more work after it's done.
After this, I'll go to my room and end up turning on my instrumental music again and just grabbing my book to read and reading for like an hour or so. I try not to be on screens too much knowing I will get addicted so fast, it's not even funny. Even today I struggle with trying to stay off my TV and computer but most days I do a good job with trying to at least manage a little bit of my time and actually living in the moment.

After my reading, I'll go and make myself some tea and hop on the tv for a few minutes, just watching videos that will help me in the aspects that I am looking at, at the time. I am very self taught so I like to teach myself a thing or two daily because knowledge is literally everything. During this time, I'm reading, writing, or finishing up some school work. It really just depends on the day.

3. Nighttime
Some nights out of the week I will make dinner while listening to music and if you have not tried doing that, I most definitely recommend. It is so relaxing and so good for your mental health. Over the time I have been in the kitchen, I have taught myself how to make a lot of things that I can use in the future and that's really the whole point why I cook is to not only teach myself but to also enjoy great meals!
Dinner is complete and I am most likely on kitchen cleaning duty which I have grown to not mind at all because it's actually really calming to be cleaning after a long day. I also enjoy cleaning because it is another form of worship in my religion. Nothing feels better than cleaning the home that God gave me and my family.

At this point, the kids are either wrapping up their play or laying down watching a movie and that is the time where I take off my mascara (only form of makeup I wear) and do my skincare routine one last time before I go to bed. If you have not bought yourself as a girly, princess or grandma pajamas, I highly recommend it. They are not only comfortable but so much better than just a regular T-shirt and it makes you feel pretty when going to bed!
At night, I'll read my Bible once again. I try to read my Bible at least up to two or three times a day, if not I will be praying and talking to God throughout the day.

After this, I'll be getting ready for bed, laying down either watching a bit of TV or reading my book before bed. I try to read before bed every night, if not then I'll be listening to Bible verses on the tv and drifting off to sleep. Mind you, it is like 10 or 11 at night, I'm talking to God and just trying to wind down and that is my night!
This is a realistic agenda of my day to day life. This may not seem like a lot but this is on a slow day and on the weekends my day looks a lot different but this is the jist of my agenda! Hope you enjoyed! What's your agenda look like?
