You may have heard the advice to spend time outdoors and "touch some grass." You might have also laughed at this statement and washed it off. Nevertheless, spending time in nature is one powerful form of therapy. Even just spending a quarter of an hour outside with a journal can leave you feeling more inspired and alive than ever before.

That's why taking a road trip to a nearby destination is beneficial for your personal growth and joyousness. You may discover hidden gems like abandoned/deserted houses, scenic houses, routes, or a beautiful vineyard. Don't forget the luxury of freedom. According to research conducted by psychologists, mindfulness-based therapy has been found to reduce stress effectively and help with depression and anxiety. This means that dedicating just three minutes a day to meditation can significantly contribute to your journey of self-discovery and personal growth. For tracking your progress, I highly recommend using the Headspace app, which I personally use.

Additionally, if you find it hard to maintain a meditation routine, you might try guided meditations on Youtube. They can be pretty helpful!

You will surely feel stressed when your workload is overwhelming, and your to-do list never seems to shrink. That's why taking up a hobby is important to unwind and relax during your free time. With thousands of hobbies to choose from, finding one that aligns with your interests is crucial.

Don't force yourself to adopt an activity that doesn't interest you, as it will only add to your stress. If you enjoy English literature, consider reading as a pursuit. Or if computers and robotics are more your thing, try coding. Your new hobby should help prevent burnout and alleviate stress.

7. Implement A New Routine

To establish a new routine, you must incorporate new habits and eliminate old ones. For instance, reserving the first 30 minutes of your routine for productive activities can significantly enhance its quality. Personally, during this time, I refrain from using my phone and engage in self-care activities such as skincare, stretching, meditation, and journaling.

This practice saves me considerable time and sets the tone for a productive day ahead. Regardless, maintaining consistency can be challenging, and I have struggled with it many times. But don't lose hope; your future self will appreciate your efforts.

Remember to reward yourself and make your routine enjoyable. As I have mentioned earlier, balance is necessary for living a happy life.
