One of the most classic and fun fall traditions is jumping into piles of leaves. Get together with a couple of friends, and rake together all the fallen leaves around the neighborhood. 4. Visit A Library

Like C.S. Lewis once said, “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me”. What better season than fall to pretend you’re the main character in a dark academia novel and be all mysterious around town with a book tucked under your arm? So head on down to your local library, find a book, achieve your reading goal for the year and look good doing it.

5. Make A Patchwork Hoodie

While fall is often characterized as cozy, we have all fallen victim to its harsh weather at some point. So how can you protect yourself from the weather and add a personal flair to it? Make a patchwork hoodie, altering it to your preference and interests.

Choose a comfortable hoodie of your choice, pick your fabrics, design your stencil, and get to work. It gives you a space to put your artistic creativity to practice and upgrade your wardrobe in one go.

P.S. using fabric glue before stitching the fabric gives extra stability from the unpredictable autumn winds.

6. Get a Pumpkin Spice Latte

Is there anything that screams ‘Fall’ more than a good old pumpkin spice latte? After all, Fall is the season of pumpkins. Put on your Uggs, head on down to your favorite coffee shop and get a nice, warm cup of pumpkin spice latte.

Afterwards, spend your time on a walk sipping on it while enjoying the beautiful fall scenery around you. We all deserve some personal care time, especially now that school has started, so make it seasonal and unique.

7. Start planning Halloween costumes

One of the most exciting parts of the fall season is Halloween. It’s essentially what makes Fall so special. And it is never too early to start planning; whether it is a funny group look with your group of friends, a recreation of your favorite character from your favorite piece of media or even something completely original.

It’s all about self expression and making fond memories that last long after many seasons pass by. And as a plus point, the process can keep you busy for weeks, cancelling out any chances of being bored.

8. Make an Autumn Scrapbook

Tapping into your creativity is a way to release stress while having fun. So, collect the autumn leaves, keep the coffee receipts, save the tickets from town events, hold onto those notes passed in class, print photos with friends and make a scrapbook for yourself. Add doodles, personal notes, stickers, or even pressed flowers to make it unique. Once the season passes by, you’ll have something touching to look back on and remember.

9. Host a Friendsgiving

Unlike a traditional family dinner, hosting a Friendsgiving in the season of Fall presents an opportunity to uphold customs while getting together with friends and sharing food, gratitude and laughter. Bring a dish each, share stories and fond memories, decorate together so that it is personal to everyone and talk about what each of you is truly grateful for this year. It is the perfect way to enjoy the season in each other’s company, while adding a unique twist to the usual tradition.

10. Carve Pumpkins

Carving pumpkins is the most classic way of celebrating Fall. While the process is always a little messy and time-consuming, there’s nothing like working hard for a long time just to end up with a little wonky face, and laughing at it together, with friends and family. Each carved pumpkin can be used as a unique decoration for the upcoming Halloween, personalizing the festival a bit, while maintaining the seasonal spirit.

Fall is not just a big change in the weather. It’s something more; a beautiful season filled with long lasting traditions, cold breezes and flying leaves, moments that bring everyone together and lots of shared laughter. May this fall, and every fall that returns, be memorable for all of us.
