Coachella 2025 has officially come to an end, and if one thing’s clear, it’s this: the desert still knows how to deliver a spectacle.
This April, Indio transformed once again into an oasis of music, art, and fashion. From chart-topping headliners to rising artists, the lineup offered something for every kind of listener, and no two sets felt the same. And while everyone’s experience is different—shaped by who they saw, where they stood, and what they felt—this list highlights what I believe were some of the most unforgettable performances of this year.
Coachella once again proved why it remains one of the most iconic music festivals in the world. With the desert sun blazing and the Empire Polo Club buzzing with energy, the festival delivered two weekends packed with music, art, and unforgettable moments. This year’s headliners—Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott—each brought their own flair to the main stage.
Of course, every Coachella experience is personal, with so many stages and so much happening at once. So here’s a look at what stood out most to me—the performances that left a mark and the surprises that lit up the night.

Lady Gaga’s Coachella 2025 performance was a stunning comeback, solidifying her place as one of the most innovative artists of our time. After a few years away from the festival, she returned delivering a performance that was amazing. From the moment she took the stage, it was clear that this was no ordinary set.
The production was nothing short of extraordinary: dark, gothic, and drenched in a theatrical vibe. Her powerful vocals were supported by flawless choreography and stage presence. It’s clear that the visual and narrative concept of the show comes from her new album, Mayhem.
She meticulously crafted a five-act performance that blended gothic opera with pop grandeur. The show opened with a dramatic manifesto and then started her performance with "Bloody Mary," which went viral in 2023 thanks to the show Wednesday.
Throughout the performance, Gaga showcased her versatility, seamlessly transitioning between hits like "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance" and tracks from her latest album, Mayhem, such as "Abracadabra". Each act was distinct, yet they all contributed to a cohesive narrative exploring themes of fame, identity, and personal chaos.
The production was equally impressive. Gaga's costume changes were elaborate, including a towering red sculptural gown and metallic armor, each piece adding depth to the storytelling. Choreographed sequences, like the chess-themed dance battle during "Poker Face", added a layer of theatricality that captivated the audience.
It was truly a memorable set, not just because of the great spectacle, but because of what an icon Lady Gaga is. Her creative vision, bold delivery, and incredible stage presence elevated the entire performance to something unforgettable. With every move, every note, she reminded the world why she remains one of the most influential and captivating artists of our generation.

Charli XCX: The Brat Summer Takes Over Coachella
Charli XCX was without a doubt one of the festival’s most awaited performers. Charli’s Coachella appearance was a culmination of years of artistic evolution, and it didn’t disappoint. Everywhere you turned, fans wore brat-green outfits—ready to dance, sing, and party with the girl who had not just created a movement but embodied it entirely.
The set started with black and white graphics on Coachella’s massive screens creating an intense sense of anticipation. Charli’s performance stood out not for its raw focus on her and her stage presence. She took the massive mainstage by herself, effortlessly commanding attention with every move. The crowd was completely hers, and she didn’t need backup dancers or elaborate visuals to prove it.
That said, Charli showed us that the fun doesn’t stop at solo acts. As the show progressed, a rotating cast of her “Brat” collaborators joined her on stage. In week one, Lorde joined Charli for an unexpected performance of "Girl, so confusing," which was a big surprise for everyone.
Billie Eilish followed, giving an exciting performance of "Guess," where she and Charli had everyone’s attention. Then, Troye Sivan joined Charli for a performance of "Talk Talk," their close friendship evident in every moment on stage. The two shared a performance that showed the bond we’ve seen during their Sweat Tour. During the second weekend, Addison Rae made a surprise appearance, delivering a fun and energetic guest appearance. They both sang “Von Dutch” with Charli. Each guest added their own spark to the performance, creating unforgettable collaborative moments.
As Charli XCX wrapped up her electrifying Week 2 Coachella set, she delivered an outro that was bold. With a playful nod to the end of her "Brat Summer" era, she declared, "It's their summer now," spotlighting a diverse list of artists. Names flashed on the screen, some of them being: Addison Rae, Lorde, PinkPantheress, Haim, Yung Lean, Ethel Cain, Kali Uchis, Rosalía, Bon Iver, and Blood Orange.
With her Coachella performance, Charli XCX not only celebrated her past but also paved the way for future artists, marking a significant chapter in her artistic evolution.
Post Malone's New Sound, Green Day's Legacy, and Travis Scott's Disappointment
Post Malone made his appearance at the festival with a set that showcased his transition into country music. Although he included songs like "Texas Tea," he delivered renditions of hits like "Wow" and "Better Now".The stage, styled like a highway exit, and his attire, including a trucker hat, emphasized the country theme. Despite the genre shift, Post's genuine enthusiasm and versatile vocals resonated with the audience, marking a successful evolution in his musical journey.
Making their Coachella debut, Green Day delivered a high-energy set filled with classics like "American Idiot," "Basket Case," and "Wake Me Up When September Ends." Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong infused the performance with political commentary, altering lyrics to address contemporary issues, including critiques of the MAGA agenda and support for Palestinian youth. Green Day's Coachella debut was not just a trip down memory lane but a powerful statement on their enduring place in the music landscape.
Travis Scott's highly anticipated return to Coachella in 2025 was met with mixed reactions. Despite grand production elements, his performance was criticized for lacking energy and cohesion. Starting late, Travis struggled to maintain momentum, leading many attendees to leave early. While moments like "NO BYSTANDERS" and "SICKO MODE" briefly energized the crowd, sound issues and sparse attendance in some areas further dampened the reception, contrasting sharply with the dynamic performances of other headliners like Charli XCX and Green Day.
The performance, though visually striking, failed to live up to the high expectations set by Travis Scott's previous shows and the festival's promotion. While some fans appreciated the spectacle, the consensus was that the set lacked the substance and engagement necessary to make it a standout moment at Coachella 2025.
Benson Boone's debut at Coachella 2025 was marked by a theatrical flair and a surprise collaboration with Queen's Brian May. The highlight was a rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody," where Brian May joined the stage, delivering the iconic guitar solo to the delight of the audience. While the performance was visually and musically ambitious, audience reactions were underwhelming—surprisingly, the crowd didn’t seem particularly impressed by the legendary Brian May’s appearance.
Benson Boone's Coachella debut may not have won over every critic or attendee, but it undeniably positioned him as a conversation starter in the pop music landscape. His blend of ambition, theatricality, and reverence for musical icons suggests a developing artist unafraid to take bold steps.

While Coachella 2025 featured a lineup of established headliners, two artists—Lisa and Tyla—delivered performances that exceeded expectations and captivated audiences.
Lisa, known for her role in BLACKPINK, made a remarkable solo debut at Coachella 2025. Her performance showcased her versatility, blending high-energy choreography with striking visuals. These costumes encapsulated the themes of her Alter Ego era, reflecting her multifaceted identity and artistic evolution.
South African singer Tyla also delivered a standout performance at Coachella 2025, blending her signature Afrobeat influences with high-energy choreography and a commanding stage presence. Both Lisa and Tyla transformed their Coachella appearances into defining moments of their careers, leaving audiences eager for what they will bring next.

The setlist was a journey through her discography, featuring hits like "Bags," "Juna," and "Sofia." A highlight was her collaboration with Shelly on "Steeeam," which was a surprise to everyone.
