As the new year is upon us we have some New Year's resolutions. Most peoples new year's resolution is to get organized or to plan better. I have been bullet journaling since June of 2017 and I came out with an article on how to bullet journal and I thought I would give you an update on my bullet journaling and setting up my bullet journal for 2018.
An Update On My Bullet Journal
An update on my bullet journaling is that it is going great. I have figured out that you don't have to make it look special or make it fancy. Honestly, in my opinion, the simpler the better. My spreads have been getting simple but it is all about what works for you and your lifestyle. Also what I have found that works are that I do my bullet journal once a week normally on a Sunday. But again this is all about what works for you and your lifestyle. I also have been finding that writing everything that happens in that day or week will take up too much space. I have found that just writing down the highlights or important things from your day or week will be fine.
Planning For The New Year
When planning for the new year just keep in mind that you can make special for the new year just make sure that it fits your style and your lifestyle. Again you don't have to make it fancy just make it personal to you. Make sure you add in a new year at a glance, you can add in habits to kill and habits to grow page, a cleaning schedule, and a weight loss tracker if you want to lose weight for the new year.
For January 2018 you want something simple yet fancy because it is the start of a new year. You want a monthly spread, a habit tracker, and some weekly spreads. Your monthly spread you can choose a theme for your month or just a color. I chose a light blue theme, with some snowflakes. This spread will help you to bring in the new year with some organization.
