Personal Growth

March 11, 2021

During this pandemic, many people across the world got started with Youtube. With Youtube, we can achieve many things like inspiring people's lives, educating the mass, explaining the latest news, and etc. Youtube is a platform where we can explore ourselves and the journey with Youtube as a YouTuber will be indelible.

Are you ready to be a Youtuber? Here are five easy steps to start a Youtube Channel.

#1 Create your channel

To get started on YouTube as a YouTuber, the first step you should do is to create your channel. Make your channel name is "catchy" and easy to remember.

Because of this, people can remember your channel easily and suggest your channel to their friends and peers. By this, you can get a lot more subscriber account, and you'll grow on this platform.

After setting your name, you can now customize your profile and your YouTube banner. Check that you are using your OWN profile picture. If you select something from the web, there are high chances of copyright issues. So, be original, be you!

#2 Start making videos

The next step is you can start making your videos!

Plan how you're going to make your video. Think about what you are going to do. There are many topics to cover. Unboxing, vlogging, tech organizations, informing facts, mystery, educational, science, and technology, dance, trending, and much much more.

YouTube is like a vast ocean. You won't go out of ideas. Some explained versions of these ideas:

Unboxing videos:

Unboxing videos are very popular these days. Under this topic, people will unbox things they've bought and review them.

This will help people to know about that product and also the opinion whether to buy that product or not. You can literally unbox anything from food products to clothing and accessories. People will love to see those products.

Here's is my favorite unboxing of MacBook pro by Enzo Lorenzo.

Vlogging:

Currently, Vlogging is the most viewed video on YouTube. Vlogging means video blog or video log. A vlog is an interactive video blog post about upcoming events or a vlogger's daily life, as well as any other activity a vlogger thinks is worth mentioning through a video.

It's much more interactive compared to a blog because we are seeing a video with visuals. Anyone create a vlogging channel. With just a few shooting tips, you can create your own beautiful blog.

title and thumbnail image Matters

Your video title is the most important step of this all. Viewers will select your video by reading the title. So, try to write your title a bit interesting.

For Example, if your video is about unboxing, instead of writing this: "Unboxing my stationary" use this "Cute Muji stationary unboxing + review! So, this will be much interesting to the viewers than the first one.

But, you should not apply a clickbait title or a title that is not connected to the video. This will frustrate the viewer and they will avoid seeing your videos in the long term. Video thumbnails let viewers see a quick snapshot of your video as they're browsing YouTube.

After your video is finished uploading, you can choose a thumbnail from these three options YouTube automatically generates, or upload your own. You have to be creative while uploading your own thumbnail. Edit your picture (Related to your video) add some effects and you're ready to go!

It's time to upload!

After carefully editing and adding music or effects, you can upload your video.

YouTube offers a very special platform only for creators known as the YouTube studio. Here, you can find all the things that are necessary for your channel. From subscriber count to privacy, everything will be in your control. You can reply to your comments or even report them.

After uploading them, the most important thing is to write a description for your video. It's the most important thing while publishing your video on YouTube. Descriptions allow the viewers to know more about your video, your credits, and even hashtags. So, don't forget to add your description!

#5 You're published!

After that long, hard work of editing and uploading when you click the publish button you can stick back down and take a deep breath. You can even celebrate after publishing your first video!

You can share your video with your friends or family and also other platforms such as Instagram or Facebook.

After this step, you can further plan to do more videos and gaining subscribers! Good luck!
