#67 TRENDING IN Aesthetics & Trends 🔥

Top Christmas Gifts Everyone’s Obsessing Over

Aesthetics & Trends

December 17, 2025

Every December, trend expert Casey Lewis binge-watches hundreds of “Christmas Wishlist 20XX” TikToks, as if it were her full-time job.

This year? Casey noticed that the hashtag # ChristmasWishlist2025 basically disappeared. Right now, it has fewer than 800 videos (last year, it was almost 3,500). Girls just… stopped posting.

One theory is that overall TikTok usage is down, which is true. As of 2025, TikTok has 1.59 billion monthly active users, down 100 million from Q4 2024 (1.69 billion).

But Kyla Scanlon lays claim to another theory. Scanlon, who popularized the word “vibecession” back in 2022, argues that we are in an actual downturn and that overt discussions of wealth, such as expensive “haul videos,” may feel tone-deaf to a broader audience.

Instead, there’s a new trend: “Things I’d put on my list… if I didn’t already own them.” It’s a genius way to do gift guides without looking greedy.

Based on TikTok and what’s already sold out, here’s what some girls are quietly asking Santa for in 2025.

Under $100 – The “Reasonable” Ask

Rhode Depuffing Eye Patches ($25) – Hailey Bieber’s brand is still undefeated. They’re aesthetic, AND they work.

• Jellycat plushies ($35+) – Smudge Monkey reigns supreme. Some say, “Get a girl a Jellycat, and she’ll love you forever.”

HydroJug ($40) – This is the new emotional support water bottle. Stanley walked so HydroJug could run.

Saie Vanity Case ($48) or the $27 Amazon dupe that I love and own. Makeup chaos is in one containment unit.

Bala Bangles ($55) – Still seems to be the official “hot girl walk” upgrade since 2020.

Revice jeans ($99) – Baggy jeans with a built-in sweatpants’ vibe. Peak comfort.

• Plus, the cute little extras: Lush Sticky Dates spray ($42), Emi Jay hair clips ($36), enewton bracelets & Kendra Scott necklaces (~$38–$70), Nodpod weighted eye mask ($38).

Take the Quiz: What Aesthetic Are You?

Let us find out your aesthetic for this summer!

$100 to $200 – The “Main Character Gift.”

Scuffers hoodie ($109) – The new crown hoodie. Pink Palm Puff has been officially dethroned.

Lululemon leggings ($108–$128) – Do you only own ONE pair of black leggings???

• Any UGG that’s short and cozy ($125–$170) – Ultra Minis, Tazzles, Tasmans… they all count. The ultra mini was on my list two years ago, and I still love them!

Parke Varsity Mockneck ($130) – It’s sold out, so it’s basically a legend.

Hatch Restore alarm clock ($170) – If your phone makes you doomscroll for two hours, this might fix you.

Longchamp tote ($180) & Skims PJ sets ($68-$120) – All tote and quiet-luxury sleep girlies rise.

$300+ – The “Santa, Are You Listening?” List

• Oura Ring ($300–$550) – Everyone wants the new pink ceramic one.

Shark CryoGlow LED face mask ($350) – At-home MedSpa is apparently its own love language.

Lola blanket ($109-$400) – I’d never heard of this… but it suddenly has ads everywhere on the NYC subway.

• Byredo Vanille Antique perfume ($468) – Fancy vanilla girl winter.

Viral Amazon vanity desk (~$279) – Whoa, Hollywood lights.

Canon PowerShot G7 X ($1,388) – The Kodak PixPro is also a good alternative.

My Wish List

In case you’re wondering, here’s what's on my list. It actually sways more toward beauty than toward TikTok trends and is, incidentally, much smaller than in years past.

TL/DR

Some girls might want the same fancy haul, but seem to have gone underground. The wish list is still alive. It’s just in the group chat.
