Brandy Melville

Yes, I will admit it-I jumped onto the bandwagon full of countless Utah girls that all dress the same. Despite the ongoing controversy regarding Brandy Melville, they still managed to come out on top for teen girls. Many love their quality pieces, stating that they are 100% cotton and long-lasting.

However, the criticism over "one size fits all" has customers misled. Reviews have stated that they feel body shamed that they can't fit into the clothes, and it depends on your body type. Brandy Melville has changed its sizing and loyal customers have said that over the years the clothes have gotten bigger. This has angered the petite community as well because now they can't fit into the same skinny girl clothes that Brandy Melville used to market. There have also been issues with customers saying employees have been rude and unhelpful. In my opinion Brandy Melville has some of the best sweatpants on the market and flattering tank tops at decent prices. Overall, they aren't overpriced, and the quality is pretty good, and they have great basics.

Alo Yoga

Alo Yoga has secured its spot for most-wanted activewear brands as of January 2026. They sell very stylish and sleek activewear. Known for their high quality and premium materials, it's the new Lululemon.

They are centered as a wellness and lifestyle brand that emphasizes athleisure and everyday comfort and flexibility. They offer a blend of stretchy fabric and a variety of colors, as well as being performance driven. Alo's popularity has come from trending on TikTok and being widely talked about on social media. Popular items include Alo skirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, leggings, and socks. While the price is undeniably high, I honestly love my Alo sweats, and I wear them almost every day. So many customers argue that the comfort and quality justify the cost, but I think it depends on the item. You might be able to justify $138 sweatpants but not $34 claw clips.

Miu Miu

Miu Miu stands out in the world of high-end fashion and luxury. Known for their playful and unique approach, they have reinvented modern design and become an icon for designers and brands worldwide. Owned by Prada, Miu Miu is the sister brand, offering an alternative to Prada's sophisticated designs.

From being trendsetters to amplifying their outreach online, this brand demonstrates the youthful (Gen Z) side of luxury fashion. From ballet flats to layered socks and oversized handbags and miniskirts, they offer a variety of items that have taken over the younger demographic's wardrobe. The girlies love Miu Miu's aesthetic and go crazy over their handbags and catching restocks. Miu Miu has also reshaped fashion as we know it, proving that it can be fun, chaotic, and rebellious but still classy and iconic. They continue to inspire people all over the world, using their leverage to influence the younger generations. There's something so alluring and desirable about this brand.

Hollister

If you remember the Y2K era, then Hollister needs no introduction. As we know, 2026 is the new 2016. So expect Hollister to be the trendsetters, reintroducing signature pieces such as, fur-trimmed hoods and lace camis.

They were the it store for a while but recently surged in popularity again. Popular amongst teens for their stylish, trendy, and cute clothes, such as low-rise jeans, hoodies, sweatpants, and mini skirts. They have also rebranded their stores (remember when Hollister was so dark inside?). A subtle but significant shift, they finally have lights so you can actually see the clothes. I honestly get really overwhelmed by Hollister's selection, but it's good that they have a wide variety of stuff to choose from. Whether you want a lounge set or a going-out set, they will have something. I recently discovered the that Hollister sells perfumes and body mists. These offer nostalgia for loyal buyers and a holistic experience.

Parke

Lastly, Parke has taken the internet by storm. Everyone was asking for their mockneck sweatshirts for Christmas. I don't get the hype personally, but the quality is good, so I'll give it that.

Influencers have played a huge part in their sudden rise to fame, and limited restocks have created high resale demand. I had never heard of this brand before just recently, so I assume they were like any other brand with a fanbase that wasn't crazy huge or viral. All in all, it's the new White Fox and Pink Palm Puff, and everyone wants one. The prices aren't necessarily cheap but you are paying for the logo so it's justifiable. I doubt it's going to still be trendy in three months anyways, but prove me wrong.
