As the school year comes to a close, many seniors are realizing that their bucket list is left completely blank! To combat this, I've made a list of five fun, affordable, and memorable activities to do with your friends before the school year ends.

1) Go Thrifting

Thrifting is such a fun way to pick up cute new outfits and trinkets while helping the planet! Many thrift stores have items like CDs, records, shoes, jackets, jeans, and more. Most thrift stores are very affordable and have vintage items from companies that are still around today like Vera Bradley, Coach, Levi's, and other iconic brands.

I've found some gems at the thrift store like old but in great condition records, one of a kind jeans, and trinkets. While you can walk away from the store happy about your new clothes, you'll also feel the pride of helping sustain the Earth.

2) Make a Memory Book

Lots of people make memory books for newborns, road trips, summer camp, or even just pictures they take throughout the years, so why not make one to commemorate your last few months of school?

All you need is a camera or your phone, a printer, a notebook, and some fun stickers or tape! You can even make matching memory books with your friends or family! And, to spice it up, maybe take things from your trips and glue them down. You could take chip bags, napkins, receipts, anything that reminds you of your trip.

3) Write a Letter to Your Future Self

This can be a letter about your goals, about where you are in life right now, about the music you like, really anything you want. Most people like to write about things that they like to see if they stay the same but getting a letter from your past self about anything is an amazing experience.

If you're going into college or high school, write a letter to yourself for graduation day or the first day of your sophomore year. Maybe even write a letter to yourself that you can't open until a certain event like your wedding, when you buy your first house, or any huge achievement you know you'll make.

4) Go to a Play or Musical at Your School

Going to your school's play or musical is an exciting way to support your peers and school while having a nice time. At most schools, buying tickets and snacks often directly supports the theater department, the PTA, or other causes that help the school. Go with friends or family to make the experience even more fun and memorable (and maybe get some snacks)!

5) Plan a Sleepover

Sleepovers are a great way to spend the last few months before summer. Watch movies, eat junk food, gossip, do each other's makeup, or do anything else you and your friends like.

If you want to make it even more fun, invite lots of people, maybe even your whole friend group, the more the merrier! When I have a sleepover, I love to watch movies while we talk and eat snacks. They're a perfect way to bond with your friends and catch up with each other.

Takeaways

So, while the school years comes to a close, what will you check off your bucket list?
