I decided to try out this skincare line, because if there was anything that could revive my skin, it was sure to be Cocunat. I couldn't have been more excited for the box containing The Wondermask, The Absolute, The Cure, and the Detox Cleansing Foam- all packaged in individual cute boxes.
The Wondermask
This mask is like no other, and is really a wonder. It's said to be cruelty free, PETA-approved, vegan, and no-nasties- and it doesn't stop there!
The amazing ingredients used in this mask is geared for the perfect no-filter skin; Ginger for anti-ageing with around 40 antioxidants, White Clay for detoxing, French Rose for retinol and Vitamin C, Sunflowers for Vitamin E and protection against cellular oxidation, Camomile for anti-inflammation & rich Vitamin B, flavonoids, and alpha-bisabolo, and certainly last but not least, Prickly Pear for wrinkle-smoothing and Omega 3, 6, 9.
The lovely blue-hued box opened up to the cutest packaging- the Wondermask jar in the center, with a Free-Face sponge applicator and a flat brush for mask application on the sides. The brush exceeded my expectations of how well it applied the mask on my face!
It was clearly evident that the Wondermask was engineered incredibly well when I opened the mask jar- the smell wasn't just your average cheap clay mask that you can find at the local drugstore or the grocery store. This was a scent that gave off a healthy, rejuvenating power- if scents ever could play an aspect in determining that, this was it.
The clay mask was a white-grey shade of color, and when I applied it on my skin, I could feel the cool clay on my skin working wonders- no pun intended! With this mask, you can feel the tiny balls of ingredients embedded, but it definitely was not one of the harmful microbeads. It was rather the gentle, dough-like clay formula, and I can say confidently that it significantly helped my skin achieve that glow!

The Absolute
I'm actually a person that's pretty picky when it comes to moisturizer. I strongly dislike the feel of greasy, oily, and sticky lotion on my skin- and have been searching for the perfect moisture-locking product for years.
I wanted something that was balanced, but that seemed too difficult to match my expectations; therefore, I ended up rarely using moisturizer at all on some days. (this certainly was not a good thing- moisturizing is an important step in reducing extreme skin dehydration and oiliness, and very much needed!)
The Absolute really did meet my criteria, which I was pleasantly surprised about. I really am raving about this product, because I truly was so satisfied with it. I've truly seen no other moisturizer like The Absolute that does its job as well.
This cream is made to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin nutrition, and reduce dark spots. It "brightens and tones", with plant-based botox to lift up your skin for a ever-youthful effect and stimulating skin regeneration for healthy, new skin.
To create The Absolute, we used the science of epigenetics as a basis, a science that recovers and protects chromosomes to reverse the ageing process.
This natural, algae-based technology regenerates and restricts the shortening of chromosomes to extend the life span of cells. By activating the GENE nc886, we reduce the amount of PKR, which is the cause of ageing. Low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, plus 12 biologically active components, effectively combat ageing, neutralise free radicals and plump out wrinkles.
An explosion of nutrients, vitamins and proteins stimulate the fibres responsible for producing collagen, regenerating cells and achieving more flexible, smoother skin.
The cream is in a black glossy jar with a shade of light dreamy orange. The feeling of it on the skin is heavy enough to settle on skin, but light and smooth. I felt like I could just feel the moisture locking in.
The scent was also another point that won me over. The Absolute definitely wins a 10/10, and I've got zero complaints here!

The Cure
Admittedly, I have absolutely no experience with oils whatsoever. The Cure, however, really led me to realize how important oils are in part of your facial skincare routine.
The Cure is composed of 21 natural oils and made for any skin type and regardless of age. It's said to illuminate, brighten, and nourish the skin, as well as boosting the collagen formation and hyaluronic acid for better, healthier, glowy skin. Below are just a few of the amazing qualities this serum holds:
EXPLOSION OF VITAMINS: The combined action of Retinol and vitamins B, C, E and K provides rapidly visible results. It stimulates the formation of collagen and hyaluronic acid. Powerful antioxidant with 20 times more Vitamin C than an orange. It brightens and balances the skin for an 8-hour sleep effect.
PRODIGIOUS ENZYME: The secret to dazzling skin. No matter how old you are, Superoxide Dismutase is a cell renewer that will completely change your skin. It neutralises free radicals and reverses the signs of ageing.
NATURAL BOTOX + FATTY ACIDS: A unique synergy to rejuvenate your skin. It produces elastin by increasing firmness. It smoothes out both deep and surface lines. It restores the hydrolipid barrier, which keeps the skin hydrated throughout the day.
To apply this facial oil, just before bed is perfect. With about three drops on your fingers to then apply to your face in circular motion, The Cure will work its magic over the night. It is advised to apply the oil in circular, upwards motions on face, neck, and chest.
What I loved most about The Cure was that it did not feel greasy at all. This is pretty rare in terms of facial oil, and I couldn't have been more happy about this! The serum absorbed incredibly well on my skin, and in the morning after my nighttime skincare routine, I woke up to glowing healthy skin.
The Cure is fit for all skin types, but for those with combination/oily skin, once in the evening should be sufficient; Cocunat also recommends a double cleansing in the morning with the Detox Cleansing Foam and 3-in-1 Micellar Water for better effects.

The Detox Cleansing Foam
The Detox Cleansing Foam is made to purify and cleanse your skin. With a gentle slight push on its top, the bottle will let out a perfect dollop of white foam.
Made with Witch Hazel and Calendula as its main ingredients, The Detox Cleansing foam significantly helped close my pores and leave a healthy shine. Witch Hazel, as proclaimed on its site, is effective and powerful in tightening pores, improving circulation, acne preventing, eliminating impurities, and removing excess sebum. A few of Calendula's beneficial aspects are soothing and moisturizing the skin.
The detox cleansing foam for oily and combination skin that deeply purifies, cleanses and detoxifies the skin, thanks to the extract of Witch-hazel and Calendula. It closes the pores leaving your skin without any grease for longer. Its soft foam provides a feeling of freshness in the skin.
When using it daily you will notice the WOW effect from the first application, since it eliminates EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING. Its perfect foamy texture makes cleaning your skin a true ritual of pleasure. Surprise yourself!
Personally, I just love, love, love the fresh feeling I get after using this foam. I feel so refreshed, and I can't wait to include this foam in my everyday morning routine- the perfect way to start off a day. My skin felt so smooth and even hydrated after. This cleanser is also very effective in getting rid of facial oil and sebum, as well as makeup.
To use, simply squirt your preferred amount of cleansing foam onto wet skin. Massage using circular motions, gentle and softly, Remove with warm water, and you're all set for detoxified, clearer skin!

Overall Review
To say I was shocked is an understatement- I was wowed. Cocunat has my skin feeling better than ever, and I am honestly so in love with it.
The biggest point for me personally I would say would be that Cocunat was the first non-greasy product line I have ever encountered. As one of thousands, if not millions, of those that truly don't enjoy the feeling of slick, greasy, and oily skincare products- Cocunat's items were so easy to fall in love with!
The difference after trying the products even after just a single day is astronomical. I don't feel- I know- that my skin is doing so much better after using such high-quality ingredient filled skincare from Cocunat.
This brand's scored a full 10 points out of 10 with me because of how effective it is, and how easy-going and careful it is with fragile skin. It also scores perfectly on ethics- no nasties, gentle yet effective ingredients, vegan, cruelty free, recyclable container packaging- the list goes on and on.
