Some collections come and go, but others live rent-free in your wardrobe forever. Bydee has a way of creating pieces that feel less like swimwear and more like souvenirs from a dream vacation.

If you haven't yet met Bydee, prepare to fall in love with your new summer obsession.
Founded in Australia and inspired by the hidden corners of the Mediterranean and beyond, Bydee isn't just about bikinis, but it’s about a feeling.

Known for their hand-painted prints, intricate embroidery, and custom-designed charms (think tiny gold oysters and resin-filled tiles), each piece feels like a souvenir from a dream vacation.
Dee, known to most as Dessy Hairis, Creative Director and Founder of Bydee, formed the brand in its initial iteration in 2013. Stimulated by a swimwear obsession and her Mediterranean roots, Bydee has evolved from a market stall to an internationally recognised brand.
"When I think of Bydee, I care deeply about the whole process… from the mood boards to first sketches through to our customers unpacking their orders and Bydee becoming a part of their world. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to be your own work of art." ~Dee

From the deep navy of the Mediterranean to the spicy pulse of the Seychelles, I’m breaking down my personal hall of fame favorites from the Bydee archives.
Azul: Where the Sun Meets the Sea
Azul captures the ultimate summer duality: the burnt orange of a setting sun melting into deep navy waves. The print looks like it was painted by the tide itself, and I am in love with how dreamy yet bold it is.
The Kefalonia Top is a masterclass in hardware. It features a tiny, detailed sardine charm at the center and alternating oyster and sardine charms on the tie ends. It’s those "if you know, you know" details that make Bydee so special.
Not only that, the subtle crossover triangle bikini top is all about that eye for detail, too.

The Corfu Bottoms are designed with a thick, stretchy waistband and cross-over panels that create a flattering V-shape on the high hip, perfect for lengthening the legs and making them look forever long like a model.

These bottoms give me the curves I didn’t even know I had. It’s truly insane.
Céleste: The Vintage Romantic
Céleste is a soft embrace of femininity. It weaves together intricate lace and floral motifs to evoke a sense of effortless grace and vintage romance. If a wildflower meadow were a wardrobe, this would be it.
This set is the crown jewel of Bydee resort wear. The Ophelia Top features a structured lower bodice with boning and semi-sheer lace, giving it a corseted feel that is still breathable.

The Jolie Maxi Skirt is everything dreams are made of. It’s a full-length lightweight cotton dream with ladder trim and ribbon bows at the sides. It’s semi-sheer, making it just as good over a bikini as it is for a sunset dinner.

No picture will ever do this set justice. I have never seen an outfit as romantic as this one.
Azania: Tropical Rhythm
Azania is for the girl who isn’t afraid of a little color. Inspired by the spice markets and hand-painted tiles of the Seychelles, this print pulses with movement and raw tropical beauty.
The Ischia Top replaces your standard bikini hardware with a custom diamond-shaped centerpiece featuring a resin-filled Azania tile. It feels like wearing a piece of Mediterranean architecture.

I love pairing this with the Prague Bottoms because of the double-strap side detail. The contrast binding makes the print pop, and you can wear them as a hipster or high on the hip, depending on how edgy-cool you’re feeling that day.
