Most fans, due to their love of Sabrina Carpenter, are excited for Track 12, which is titled “The Life of a Showgirl.” This is the first song that Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter collaborated on together.
Sabrina Carpenter became a national sensation with her songs “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” as well as her Grammy Award-winning album “Short n’ Sweet.” She currently has another album on the way on August 29th, and it’s titled “Man’s Best Friend,” which has gained some controversy over the album cover, which shows her bowing down to a man while having her hair pulled.
Fan Theories

Many fans have resorted to making fan theories about the album including,
- Copper Oxidation: The copper and mint schemes in the album could be a metaphor to how the passage of time and being in the showgirl industry can turn shiny, beautiful, and elegant things into rusty, broken, and irreversible things. Some tweets implicating these theories are from @myt3arsr1c0chet, @fearlesskait, @megan.wrights.books, etc.
- A Future Documentary: The whole album releasing on October 3rd would be a potential soundtrack for a new documentary about Swift’s worldwide tour, The Eras Tour. @nadiazee18, @margaretaccursia, etc.
- Potential Las Vegas Residency at the Sphere: There are talks from fans about the album hinting at a residency in the newly opened Las Vegas Sphere, like what U2, the Eagles, and Phish did. A residency is when an artist holds performances in one venue for a long period of time. Threads from @robynlisaflynn, @lorianneburke, etc.

My Reaction

Honestly, it was about time we got a new album to listen to for the autumn. I enjoy listening to music during the autumn because it really hits different when the leaves are falling and turning orange. Taylor Swift is one of the most respectable artists in the music industry, and the Grammys can't wait to see her again.
