1. Reading

Reading is so underrated. Especially since there are so many amazing and fabulous books out there that are yet to be discovered. All summer I read and read and read.

It was amazing. I was going in and out of worlds and parties all summer, and it felt like magic! Like a kingdom inside of my brain! It was such a peaceful summer, and it was so worth it! And this is coming from a former nonreader who hated books. Books are so good and I totally recommend them! They are amazing!

2. Crocheting

This is an activity not many know how to do, and I honestly still have not mastered it yet, but when I tell you it is really cool to be able to crochet and make things. My sister has been teaching me for a week or two and I have mastered a few little ways to do it, but it can get complicated. In the end, I made a really cool sock, and I would love to be able to do more of that.

3. Starting A Substack Account

This is for all my girlies and guys who are always on social media and want to build a platform of community and love. I did this actually this school year and I do not regret it! Links in my Substack account if you want to check it out, but I built such an amazing community for all.

Everyone comes together and share their interests and things. It's so amazing to see and the amount of content you could make to keep you busy is honestly insane and very time-consuming.

4. Writing

Writing your thoughts and feelings down time to time brings such a free feeling that you can only get when you write. Especially if you are a great writer and actually know how to write, you can experiment and put your words in different ways that you didn't even know possible. Words are so powerful and the power to be poetic and write is such a privilege that I will never take advantage of.

I write all the time, in my free time, during school, at home, etc. I write everything and everywhere. I recommend if you are a person like myself who has feelings on a deeper level.

5.Researching

I have been going down so many rabbit holes lately, it's honestly insane. I have been really focused on spiritual rabbit holes as well lately. Like things that are in the Bible and Greek mythology.

It is very interesting to find out the origin of things, and I recommend going down those rabbit holes and finding out the backstories to certain brands and labels. You can research anything and everything. Jotting down things and educating yourself is very important and so worth it!

6. Studying

Studying is so underrated. It doesn't even have to be school-related. It can be everything related but just studying in general can be so relaxing and so effective when learning about new things.

As I said before, it's always amazing to educate yourself on everything and anything. I recommend studying because it helped me so much during finals and it is better to be safe than sorry.

These may seen very boring and not for everyone and your correct, these aren't for everyone, but these are things that I enjoy, and many others could also enjoy them! Let me know if you like these recommendations!
