Pam Bondi

One of Trump’s picks: Former Florida AG and current Attorney General Pam Bondi has stated to be working towards a nonpartisan justice system across the nation. On January 15 2025, Bondi stated “Under my Watch, the partisanship, the weaponization, will be gone. America will have one tier of justice for all”, showing her clear motives towards a more just legal system (AP News).

However, critics claim that Bondi improperly released only parts of the “Epstein files” in a move to protect President Trump due to him potentially being in the documents (Office of Public Affairs).

Democrats however point to Hegseth’s various past issues. For example, he has faced a resurfaced se*ual assault allegation, has had past issues with alcohol, and has mistakenly leaked military plans via Signal.

Republicans defend Hegseth’s past by stating that the critiques are only there to target Hegseth due to his “anti-woke” agenda. They also describe each allegation as ancient and unproven, discrediting any sort of complain by the opposing side.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

In response to the ongoing health epidemic in America, President Trump offered the role of Health Advisor to “Bobby” Kennedy Junior. With his role, “Bobby” Kennedy brings skepticism of Big Pharma, assisting the Trump Administration in examining critiqued COVID-era mandates and in restoring medical transparency to Americans.

However, public health circles as well as many Democrats have claimed Kennedy’s anti-vaccine activism to be absurd. Kennedy’s past accusation of groping a woman in the 1990s has also been brought up, though claims have not been proven.

Kristi Noem

Donald Trump has also appointed Kristi Noem as Homeland Security Secretary. Noem is leading on ending the issue of the border crisis, authorizing controversial ICE raids, and cutting federal funding for cities that call themselves sanctuaries for “illegal aliens”.

Even with strong progress in the Mexican-American border, Noem has faced strong opposition due to her and Trump’s ICE raids. Many claim that it is unconstitutional to deport and that illegal immigrants deserve to stay due to their contribution to the economy and society in general.

However, as shown by the recent Los Angeles Anti-ICE riots, there has been a great sense of hypocrisy from illegal immigrants and their supporters. Noem and President Trump have pointed out that while the rioters advocate for illegal immigrants to remain in America, they burn the American Flag and continue to wreak havoc on Los Angeles.

During his time working with Trump’s administration, Musk strived to save billions of dollars that were being wasted.

However, the list of controversies behind his participation in government affairs is long. Many criticize the mere fact of him being in the government due to his birth nation being South Africa. He has been accused of corruption, requesting financial favors, and much more. Musk was also heavily criticized for his behavior and supposed “Nazi” salute in CPAC this year.

Due to Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill”, which many state to be a future contributor to increasing national debt, Musk has left his role in the US government and has even accused Trump of taking part in the Epstein files.
