Everything We Know about petal
petal will be released on July 31. According to Grande, this album will be full of life. She stated in a release that petal is about "growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging."
This album stems from a place where Grande was too shy to express before. This album will be bold, allowing her to express her emotions that she has not shared before.
The July 31 release date means that petal will be released in the middle of the Eternal Sunshine Tour. We can expect the setlist to change in August.
The album will have 12 tracks. The lead single, "Hate That I Made You Love Me," will be released on May 29. Grande noted that this single is one of her favorite songs that she will ever write.
Due to this announcement, we can expect this song to surpass our expectations. Many of Grande's songs are amazing and if this is one of her all-time favorites, it is most likely going to be a huge hit.
One other example of one of her favorite songs that she has written is "Imperfect for You." This song has lyrics that are relatable, while still being one of her most unique songs. If "Hate That I Made You Love Me" is anything like "Imperfect for You," it will be one of her best songs to date.
Grande co-produced the album alongside Max Martin and Ilya, who have both been collaborating with Grande for over a decade. Their partnership began in 2014 for her My Everything album.

The Eternal Sunshine Tour
The Eternal Sunshine Tour will begin on June 6 in Oakland, California. This tour will support Eternal Sunshine and petal. After 42 shows, the tour will end on Sept. 1 in London.
As usual, it was not easy to get tickets for The Eternal Sunshine Tour. Presales were hectic, with Ticketmaster experiencing major technical issues. Fans were outraged as the Ticketmaster queue froze for a long time.
For those who got through the glitch, it seemed as if tickets were gone super quickly. The U.S. leg of the tour sold out within minutes.
Ticket resale prices are also ridiculous. For fans that tried to buy resale, they were faced with extremely high prices. They turned to social media, expressing their irritation at not only Ticketmaster but also resellers.
Grande responded to this chaos, saying that she and her team are trying to resolve the problems and allow fans to have tickets to her shows.
There is no official setlist yet, but fans are speculating about what might be played. One expectation is that this tour will have more of a focus on her more recent albums, especially after petal is released. However, Grande has been in the music industry for a while, producing many hits in the 2010s and early 2020s. We can expect her to play some of her biggest hits along with many of her newer songs.
Some speculation of which older songs will be played include "Into You," "No Tears Left to Cry," "One Last Time" and "Break Free."
Big news for older fans: Grande posted a soundcheck of "Dangerous Woman" for her upcoming tour on TikTok. This can cause more speculation about which older songs will be played. Hopefully, "Dangerous Woman" will be played on tour; this song is absolutely iconic and one of the biggest songs from the 2010s.
