BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan), also known as the Bangtan Boys or Beyond the Scene, is a globally renowned 7-member South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The overly popular boy band team has been active since June 13, 2013 backed up with its leader RM and fellow members, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. As one of the most successful acts in the world, they have topped Billboard charts, performed at the Grammys, and established a massive global fanbase known as ARMY.

Yet, in 2022, leaving most fans in agony the septet parted ways to join the mandatory South Korean military service. The group is preparing for a new album, ARIRANG and a massive world tour. Arirang is a well-known Korean folk song estimated to be 600 years old. It is sung in both North Korean and South Korean regions and acts as a symbol of unity between the two nations divided by the Korean war.

The contemporary album will be released on March 20, 2026, at 1 p.m. KST, featuring 14 tracks, with the lead single titled 'SWIM'. All seven members were deeply involved in the writing and production; in fact, RM is credited on 13 tracks, Suga on 11, and J-Hope on 10, further hinting at the blast this album is going to cause in the industry.
Doubling the surprise, the album surpassed 4 million pre-orders in its first week, a new industry record. Talking of the BTS world tour, you need not wait as they will be making major appearances across 34 regions, including North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Australia, totalling 82 shows.

So basically, BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG will stream live globally on Netflix on March 21, 2026, at 8 p.m. KST from Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. Also, Netflix said the performance would be followed by "an intimate documentary film" called BTS: The Return on 27 March, offering fans "a rare behind-the-scenes look" at the group's highly anticipated return after the members completed their military service.
