Secret Superstar
If you’re a teenager (especially a girl) feeling stuck in a world that seems determined to clip your wings, Secret Superstar is a must-watch.
The film tells the story of Insia, a teenage girl with a powerful dream of becoming a singer—even though she comes from a strict, abusive, and emotionally draining household. Hiding her identity behind a burqa, she uploads her songs on YouTube, slowly gaining recognition and courage with every step she takes.
This movie isn’t just about music or fame—it’s about fighting for your voice, your dreams, and your identity. It’s a reminder that no matter how tough your surroundings are, you hold the key to your future. It’s about looking beyond the problems and choosing to shine, even when the world wants you to stay in the dark.
Hope always needs some self realization to be alive: what to do, your dreams, your worth, and responsibility.
Wake Up Sid
If you're a teenager figuring life out, Wake Up Sid is a movie you should definitely watch. It's about a guy named Sid who's carefree, spoiled, and doesn't really know what he wants. But life hits him hard after college, and things start to be real (and of course not how he expected it to be).
Then, he meets Aisha, a focused and independent girl, and through her friendship and companionship, Sid slowly learns what it means to grow up, take responsibility, find out things he is truly passionate about and find his way to live life.
This movie shows how messy growing up is, and makes us feel it's OK to be lost. It's OK to be confused while growing up. Life is all about GROWING.
Realization Doesn’t Always Come When You Want it To
It’s not necessary that one big realization will magically put you on the right path in life. Sometimes, even when everything seems great—you’re at the top, doing well, in the “right” place—you still don’t feel happy.
And honestly, that’s okay.
There comes a time when you’ll sit with yourself and wonder: “Why am I still not satisfied, even after achieving what I wanted?”
That’s the exact phase where this next movie becomes so relatable.
Tamasha
If you're someone who's finally found what you love but still feel confused or stuck, Tamasha is a film that’ll hit home. It's shows that choosing your path isn't the end and explores how society can kill your inner artist.
It follows Ved, a guy who’s always been full of stories and creativity, but ends up living a life designed by others. Even when he starts chasing what he truly wants, the struggle doesn’t go away — it actually gets harder. He battles with self-doubt, emotional burnout, and the pressure to fit in.
This movie beautifully shows that just because you’re on the “right” path doesn’t mean everything will suddenly fall into place. The journey still has pain, confusion, and resistance — but it also has the power to transform you.
This movie shows that just because you've found your path doesn't mean it will be easy, but it will be worth it.
Realization Will Lead You on the Right Path
Choosing what's best for you and not according to society is a point in life everyone wants to reach, and that's what this movie is all about—choosing your way to live irrespective of its cost. If you're someone who's torn between living in the moment and planning for the future, this movie not only captures this conflict perfectly but also speaks directly to you.
Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani
This movie revolves around the character Bunny, a guy who dreams of traveling the world and chasing adventure, even if it means leaving people behind. As he reconnects with old friends, especially Naina — a grounded, thoughtful girl — he starts questioning what really matters: chasing dreams or cherishing relationships. The movie shows that even when you think you know your path, life has a way of surprising you. It's about growing up, making choices, and realizing that balance is the key to truly living.
The film shows that growth doesn’t always come with a perfect plan — sometimes it comes from the experiences, heartbreaks, and choices that shape who you become. It’s a story of friendship, freedom, and figuring out what kind of life you truly want.
Everything in Our Lives Comes with a Risk of Failure
Failing at small phases like exams or any competition doesn't mean you have failed in life, there are many bigger things in life that you should look for. This movie talks about everything life, love, friendship, failure, getting up, falling apart, separation, togetherness literally everything. So if you are someone who literally is looking for something that revolves around a life that teaches you everything, you need this movie
Chhichhore
Chhichhore is a film every teenager should watch, especially during times of pressure and self-doubt. It tells the story of a group of college friends who reunite years later when one of their own faces a crisis. Through flashbacks, it beautifully captures the fun, chaos, and lessons of hostel life — but more importantly, it delivers a strong message: failure is not the end.
The film highlights how academic pressure can deeply affect mental health, and how we often forget that life is much bigger than just marks and medals. With humor, heart, and honesty, Chhichhore reminds us that success isn’t just about winning — it’s about giving your best, enjoying the journey, and never giving up on yourself.
We all sometimes need a bit of motivation with comfort, and these movies give that to us.
Now Let's Look at the Most-Liked Genre: LOVE.
Do you ever wonder why everyone loves romantic movies? Sometimes, I just sit back and think—does love like that even exist in real life?
For me, love has always felt like something that only exists in fiction. I genuinely believe that no one could ever put someone else before themselves. That’s just how we humans are—self-centered in our own ways, always thinking about ourselves first.
But despite thinking all this… I still love fictional love stories. Maybe it’s just human tendency—we’re drawn to things we can’t have, to feelings that don’t exist for us in reality. There’s something strangely comforting about losing yourself in a love story that feels too perfect to be true.
So here's some movies I love the most, they are underrated, and trust me: it's awful.
Kal Ho Na Ho
Kal Ho Na Ho isn’t just a love story — it’s a reminder of how deeply someone can love you, even if they know they can never be with you. Aman’s love for Naina isn’t about possession or happy endings — it’s about making sure she learns how to live, smile, and open her heart again. It’s the kind of love that puts the other person’s happiness above your own, even if it breaks you inside.
This film teaches that sometimes the most powerful love is quiet, selfless, and invisible — the kind that changes you forever without needing to be yours. It also speaks to the fragility of life — that everything can change in a moment, and holding back your emotions might cost you more than you think. Kal Ho Na Ho urges you to say what you feel, love deeply, and live fully because we never really know how much time we have.
It's not about perfect endings — it’s about meaningful presence. That’s a kind of love worth remembering.
Sanam Teri Kasam
Sanam Teri Kasam is a raw and emotional love story that hits you where it hurts — in the quiet spaces of heartbreak, sacrifice, and misunderstood love. It’s about two people who are completely different: Saraswati, a shy and traditional girl, and Inder, a rugged man with a troubled past. Their bond starts in silence, grows through pain, and ends in a way that leaves you shattered yet full of love.
This film shows a kind of love that doesn’t need grand gestures — just presence, patience, and silent support. It’s about loving someone so purely that you carry their scars as your own. Even when society misunderstands them, even when time runs out — their love remains unshaken.
Sanam Teri Kasam isn’t a fairytale. It’s the kind of love that hurts, heals, and stays long after it's gone. It teaches you that love doesn’t always come with happy endings — sometimes, it just comes to show you what forever really means.
Yaariyan 2
Yaariyan 2 is a story about friendship, healing, and discovering yourself through the people who stand by you when life falls apart. It follows three cousins — Shikhar, Laadli, and Bajrang — each battling their own inner struggles, yet deeply connected by the bond they share. What makes this film stand out is how it balances pain with warmth, showing that sometimes, your chosen family becomes your greatest strength.
At its heart, Yaariyan 2 is about the kind of relationships that pull you out of the dark — not with big speeches, but with quiet presence. It reminds you that even when you feel like you’ve lost everything — whether it’s love, confidence, or your path — the people who truly love you will walk beside you, no matter how broken you feel.
It’s a film that gently says: you don’t have to be whole to be loved. You just have to be real — and let your people in.
Sometimes movies aren't just source of entertainment but also our comfort for life and escape from our day to day problems and might solutions to some.
