Netflix is already writing up a 10-episode documentary on this right now.
A recent TikTok by instaagraace emerged on July 16th, 2025, and it shows billionaire Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Chief People Officer Kristen Cabot hugging each other at a Coldplay concert. Seconds after they were exposed by the kiss cam, Byron ducked and hid while Cabot embarrassingly looked away from the cam. Chris Martin, the co-founder of Coldplay, commented on the couple, stating:
Oh, look at these two. Alright, come on. You're okay.
Either they're having an affair, or they are just really shy.
Isn't it crazy that he didn't know what was going on but correctly assumed it?

On July 18th, Astronomer announced that they will be starting an investigation into the Coldplay incident involving Byron and Cabot with the statement:
Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability.
The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter, and we will have additional details to share very shortly.
Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect.
There was a rumor going around that Alyssa Stoddard, who is VP of HR at Astronomer, was at the event with the two individuals due to a woman popping up on the left side of the cam that looked very similar to her appearance. However, this was deemed false, and the woman has nothing to do with Byron and Cabot.
Axios has reported that Astronomer has placed Byron and Cabot on leave, effective immediately due to the incident.
TMZ has also released footage of Byron and Cabot kissing at the concert.

Who are Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot?
Andy Byron was born in 1975 and is the CEO of Astronomer, a DataOps company that builds, runs, and observes data pipelines, and has been the head of the company since July 2023. He has held senior positions at numerous tech companies such as Lacework, Cybereason, BMC Software, etc. He is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, an associate director at the Bancroft School in Massachusetts.
They share two children together, and it is unclear how long they have been married. After the incident at the Coldplay Concert, she removed the last name "Byron" from her social media platforms, prompting up a future separation.
Kristin Cabot has been the Chief People Officer at Astronomer since November 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Gettysburg College. She has major experience within Silicon Valley.
Not only that, but she was married to an unknown person, and it is unclear whether the husband has commented on this predicament. However, they were divorced before the incident, and her current relationship is unknown.
Both individuals have not released their official statement yet and it's unknown whether the company they work for would either fire or blacklist them.
Another Astronomer CEO Incoming?
An article by the New York Post has stated that Pete DeJoy, the company's co-founder, is currently taking over the CEO position following Byron's fallout. However, he will serve as interim CEO, meaning he will only hold the position indefinitely and temporarily until Byron is back in the position. He has previously served as the chief product officer for Astronomer and was the key component for the data company's development back in 2017.
The Public Response

Glad to see people get blasted for their infidelity. The original TikTok was seen by almost 100 million people on TikTok and more on other platforms such as Twitter/X, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
A tweet about the couple that was released by the Twitter/X entertainment and pop culture news account Pop Base currently has over 550 thousand likes and almost 150 million views, further advancing the public opinion. The public did not only condemn the individuals for participating in such stupid actions, but they have also resorted to creating tons of funny memes targeting the couple.
Speaking of the memes, a tweet from FearBuck shows SportsCenter beginning their broadcast by recreating the CEO affair moment at the Coldplay Concert.
What is My Take?
From my perspective, this incident is not only disgusting and disrespectful to the respective partners of the couple but also a wake-up call that this is how all individuals accused of or actually doing infidelity should be caught. This did not only have long-lasting damage between the individuals' marriages, but it also had damning effects on their careers. From what I've seen from this situation, separation and breakups doesn't seem like a bad thing for the cheated.
