Now this is a book that probably no one has ever heard before but I honestly liked this book because it literally was a love letter to life itself. In this book all is revealed, the past, love, betrayal, religion, etc. I honestly didn't think that it was that good of a book before I read it but as I got into it, it gets more and more interesting as time goes on. Like what do you mean she didn't know if she truly loved the love of her life or not for a hot second and he didn't find out until after? Like excuse me? It was a shocker and it'll absolutely rock your world into a peaceful and cheerful mindset while going through the most heartbreaking scenes. It's weird but it's worth the read!

2. Absolution by Alice Mcdermott
Also an old book but trust, this one is just as good as the first one. If your not into old books, then this may not be your vibe but in this book it takes us a little deeper into the past. This book is about the wives. The wives of the long ago war in Vietnam. But during this war, all the drama is revealed. The main wife of the story is caught up between friendships, miscarriages, loss of children, love, and most of all, belonging. In this book, you can really see how the main character was just as lost as anyone would be during this time, just following along with the other wives as they did their daily life like her. Except she was different. Well to her she was different and to others she was a little different too but once she pairs up with the outgoing wife her husband knows, her whole world shifts. This truly was a good book and I'd recommend to anyone who needs a good read!

3. Shatter Me By Taherah Mafi
Let's slip into a few booktok books really quick. Many will say this is way over hyped but babes, you'll get the hype once you read it, I will forever recommend this book. Very much an Aaron Warner girly, through and through! The amount of choices the female main character has to make during this book is insane and its hard as heck choices too like dude, how many choices do we really need? One could lead to your immediate death, literally. But of course, she was locked up for days because her touch killed so we gotta give her some credit. This book is especially a fun book for free time or just to have your feet kicking in the air like crazy!

4. If We Ever Meet Again By Ana Huang
This book is the best explanation between love and betrayal. Every teen goes through breakups and what Farrah went through in this book is honestly so heartbreaking and so relatable for so many. Like how many high schoolers are getting their hearts broken every other day? I can name a whole lot. Farrah was a total baddie at the end of the book, standing her ground in front of Blake after he said the most unthinkable words, basically admitting to using her like dude, come on! But not to worry, we also get Blake's pov so we have an explanation that will have you in tears! I also recommend the second book to this series, truly a masterpiece!

5.You Bet Your Heart By Danielle Parker
Let's get a little acedemic here? Now this one is for all the straight A students that all of the sudden come into an encounter with love, confusion, chaos, and endless possibilities! In this book, we get a good amount of all of those and more! This was such a cute book to read, it was a cute romance book that I won't mind recommending any day. This book may get you out of your slump and into cute rom coms! The female main character is so close to winning something she has worked her whole life for until her ex best friend who is also runner up for this prize swoops in and all of the sudden, he isn't just an ex but a THREAT! Now she has choice after choice to make and those choices will lead to her betting her whole future.

6. The Last Year Of The War By Sussan Messneir
Another love letter to life that will shake you and break you even more than the other love letter to life. Now this takes us way back into the war between Germany and the United States. We get a good viewpoint on what was happening when Hitler was basically running the country of Germany. Love, chaos, death, murder, money, family, and friendship play a big role in this book. Two best friends found each other and now they're being ripped apart, many years later, united again and both have a big story to tell but what are those stories? Truly a touching book!

I personally liked these recommendations, loving some more than others but I think that they are great reads for high school and for anyone all together. In these books you get glimpses of love, tragedy, worry, and confusion, while obtaining so many more emotions in one. Are these for you?
