There are many barriers in society these days and they need to stop. Like seriously, why do we even have them? They are very unnecessary. Why can't we all just get along and have fun? Today we are going to be talking about how social barriers these days are meant to be broken. Not only that, we are going to be going through a few social barriers that need to be broken like ASAP!

Starting off strong with the attitudinal barriers. "What are these?" "What's Attitudinal?" They are stereotypes, racism, and viewing disabilities as a personal shortcoming. We are all different in so many ways and we all have our own opinions but when it comes to these barriers, it gets kinda serious. Not only does it get serious, these are touchy topics for some and when another sees someone going by these barriers, things can get a little heated.

Let's start off with racism. (Not pointed towards anyone btw.) Why is this a thing? It is unbelievably stupid and unneeded. We are all different skin tones and we are all beautiful, it doesn't matter about the skintone or the way we look. You should not be going off of how someone looks, period. One, they can not control it. Two, why does it matter so much to you that you'll point it out? It's honestly insane. No skin tone is better than the next. We are all different, and because we are all different, we should all love each other the way our Lord and Savior loves us, okay? This seems like a big issue in schools and in public places. It needs to be shut down immediately. And the saddest part is someone will see someone else judging or criticizing someone based on their color and do nothing. Like what are you doing?

Still starting off with extra strong disabilities. Again, no one can control this. The thing that irritates me the most is when someone makes an "autistic joke". Like what are you doing? It honestly gives me the ick. How do you think an autistic kid feels when someone is making fun of their disability? Like, hello? We all have feelings, how about noticing them more? Why are we making fun of the people who can't do the things we can do? It is so disrespectful. Especially if that person actually needs help and you're just watching them like it's not funny. Stop judging, grow up and move on.

Stereotypes/aesthetics. Oh, everyone is trying to chase down an aesthetic or stereotype. Sorry to break it to you, but those "aesthertics/stereotypes" you see online are, fake. Not real, not realistic. Some of them may be but 90% of them are not. Stop chasing something that no one can even pull off? Just because it looks good on camera doesn' t mean it actually is. Be yourself, be different. We love someone that's different.

2. Cultural Beliefs
How many times have I seen someone making fun of someone else's religion/language. I'd be rich if I got paid to see it. I feel we should understand other people's religions. I'm not saying you have to respect it, because in my religion, respecting someone else's religion that is different from mine, is respecting the fact that they will spend the rest of eternity in eternal suffering but you do not have to be rude about someone else being a different religion. Most of the time, they are probably only that religion because they grew up in that religion. Everyone believes different things and understands why they chose that religion and maybe you could tell them a little bit about yours. Let's be friendly and not hate on each other.
Why are we also making fun of peoples' languages? Like, we all grew up in different places, meaning we all have a little bit of an accent from wherever we are from. So what? Making fun of someone because they're Hispanic or Jamaican, or any other language is not cool. Grow up!

3. Economic Barriers
Okay, so I have never seen this happen but I have seen this on social media a lot and it's honestly sad like you have nothing else to do at this big age other than make fun of someone because of educational finance issues, work finance issues, why they don't wear designer clothes. Like why is this even a topic of discussion? It's often used for bullying. I, myself have been a victim of this. Mind you my parents were absolutely not lower class and I still looked homeless, so what? Why are we so worried about what someone looks like? What happened to what is in the heart? Like you're so busy judging someone before you even get to know them. It's crazy to me. And I'd like to mention, it's an insult, on so many levels. Not only that but this specific topic has an endless list of things that people judge other people for in this social barrier.
