We all are going to become a teenager eventually. It's a part of life and a part of growing up. It's inevitable.
For such a long time, movies have been a special part of our lives. We have grown up watching movies, and we have fallen in love with our favorites.
Movies are such an important thing to have in our teen lives. They can help to shape our minds. Movies also can teach us very important lessons.
I have put a list together of 5 movies you should watch while you're still a teenager. Most of the movies are a few of my favorites. Let's get to it!
1. The Edge of Seventeen
This movie is one of my absolute favorites! It stars Hailee Steinfeld, Woody Harrelson, Kyra Sedgwick, and Haley Lu Richardson.
The movie revolves around Nadine (Hailee Steinfeld). She has a very distant and strained relationship with her mother and brother. Her dad was her best friend, and he passed away, and she has been having a hard time ever since. She starts having an even harder time once her best friend starts dating her brother.
She confides in her history teacher, Mr. Bruner (Woody Harrelson). She goes to him for anything and everything.
Mr. Bruner basically becomes Nadine's support. Once you watch this movie, it'll easily become your new favorite movie.

2. Midnight Sun
This movie stars Bella Thorne, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Rob Riggle. It follows the life of Katie Price (Bella Thorne), who has a life-threatening sensitivity to sunlight. She has a rare genetic condition which is called Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP).
Her father Jack and her best friend Morgan take care of her during the day. She has to stay inside while the sun is out, but she comes out of her house every night.
One night Katie goes out and plays guitar at the train station, and her crush, Charlie, notices her. She then suddenly leaves and doesn't notice that she forgot her notebook. Charlie keeps the notebook, and then returns it to her the very next day.
Eventually, they begin dating. One day, Katie goes to the doctor, and they tell her she only has a certain amount of time left to live.

3. Sierra Burgess Is A Loser
This movie stars Shannon Purser, Kristine Froseth, RJ Cyler, and Noah Centineo. It follows the life of Sierra Burgess (Shannon Purser) who is striving to get into Stanford University.One day, Sierra's arch enemy,Veronica, gives a guy named Jamey Sierra's phone number acting as if it was her own. Jamey (Noah Centineo) then starts texting Sierra thinking he is actually texting Veronica.
Sierra then begins "catfishing" Jamey. Believe it or not, Sierra and Veronica work with each other and help each other out. Veronica goes on a "date" with Jamey for Sierra, and Sierra tutors Veronica.
Eventually Jamey does find out the truth, though. I guess you'll just have to watch it to find out what happens!

4. Clouds
This movie is an absolute must see! It stars Fin Argus, Sabrina Carpenter, Madison Iseman, Neve Campbell, Tom Everett Scott, and Lil Rel Howery. This movie is based on the true story of the life of Zach Sobiech.
Zach Sobiech (Fin Argus) is a high school student who has been dealing with osteosarcoma and has been getting regular treatments for it. His best friend, Sammy Brown (Sabrina Carpenter), loves writing and making music just like him.
One day, Zach asks Amy to go on a picnic date with him. However, when he is about to leave to go to meet Amy, his Mom takes him to the hospital because he had a bad cough.
Thankfully, Zach's mom brought him to the hospital when she did, because Zach had a collapsed lung and had to go into surgery immediately. Once he wakes up from his surgery, he overhears the doctor telling his parents that he is terminal, and that they don't think he will even make it to graduation. He goes on with his life putting on a smile, and eventually he starts putting all of his feelings and emotions into songwriting. It only goes up from there.

5. Before I Fall
This movie stars Zoey Deutch, Halston Sage, Logan Miller, Kian Lawley, Elena Kampouris, Diego Boneta, and Jennifer Beals. This movie follows the life of Samantha Kingston. She wakes up on February 12th, and her friends pick her up for school.
The girls get invited to a party, and so they go that night. When they leave, they get into a car wreck, and they die. However, Samantha wakes up in her bed afain on February 12th.
Samantha thinks that she was just having a nightmare. But once again, they leave the party and get in a car crash, and die. One night, she convinces the girls to have a sleepover instead of going to the party. She avoids the car crash, but still continues to relive the same day over and over again.
