What is a Bullet Journal?

A bullet journal is a notebook that accommodates a huge variety of planning. You can put in monthly calendars and to-do list. You can also have your bullet journal as neat or as messy as you want it.

What Do You Need To Get Started?

Most people use a regular notebook but also a lot more people use the well-known Leuchtturm1917. The Leuchtturm1917 is the most popular out of the many bullet journals even though it is more expensive ($19.99). You also need pens, a ruler, and I use a highlighter. The pens can honestly be any pens that you want to use but I use the Ink Joy Paper Mate.

Your First Pages

Your first pages should be an index. You should save at least three to four pages for your index. Your next pages can be your key, now you key can be as simple or as complex as you want it. You should also have a monthly page and weekly pages for each month and week of the year.

Collections

Now you can get into your collections. For collections, you can have anything from a spending tracker to a grocery list or even a packing list for vacation. In my bullet journal I have a future log, birthdays, Grey's Anatomy tracker, goal weight, sleep log, books to read, and finally chores. These are just some of the collections that you can put in your bullet journal.

Where To Find Inspiration

You can find a lot of your bullet journal inspiration on Pinterest, Instagram, and even Tumblr, and YouTube. Some people that I watch on YouTube are, BohoBerry, Caitlin's Corner, and Sunday Mornings. You can even find bullet journal inspiration on google by just looking up bullet journals and what you want to look for.
